Prada First Entered The Temple Store With China'S E-Commerce Platform In June
In May 29th, the temple library announced recently that it signed a contract with the Prada group. It will provide products of Prada and Miu Miu from the platform of temple Library in June 2019 based on the strategy of Prada based on distribution control and brand image protection.
It is reported that this is the first time that Prada has cooperated with China's e-commerce platform.
Earlier, the temple library also provided some Prada group's brand products, but this group was directly retailing on the monastery platform.
In June 6th of this year, Prada 2020 spring men's wear will be on show at Shanghai Minsheng wharf.
Referring to this cooperation, CEO Federica Marchionni of Siji International said that it was proud and reliable that Prada group chose to cooperate with temple library.
This is also one of the strategies for Prada group to increase its digitalization.
Statistics show that temple library was established in 2008, and was listed on NASDAQ in September 2017.
According to the earnings data released earlier, the total revenue of temple Library in 2018 was 5 billion 388 million yuan (about 784 million US dollars), representing an increase of 44% over the 3 billion 741 million yuan in 2017, while the net profit attributable to ordinary shareholders of the company was 152 million yuan (about 22 million 100 thousand US dollars).
In August 8, 2018, the temple library announced the completion of a strategic financing of $175 million from L Catterton Asia and Jingdong.
At the same time, the board of directors of the Si Gu group approved the appointment of Ravi Thakran as director and appointed Jingdong Hu Shengli as observer of the board.
