First, the second basic situation of the fair

The second China International Import fair is scheduled to be held in Shanghai International Convention and Exhibition Center in from November 5 to 10, 2019. The Ministry of Commerce and the Shanghai Municipal People's government sponsor the China International Import Expo and National Convention and Exhibition Center.

The contents of the second annual fair are still composed of the national comprehensive exhibition, the business exhibition and the Hongqiao International Economic Forum. Among them, the national comprehensive exhibition is displayed by the invited exhibitors in the field of trade and investment, and only shows no turnover. The business exhibition covers trade in goods and services. The Hongqiao International Economic Forum includes the main forum and the 4 sub forum. In addition, hundreds of supporting activities will be held during the Expo.

The second session will strengthen innovation and Exhibition on the basis of adhering to the first good practice. One is to add the platform of "the Expo". Support ministries, trade organizations, international organizations to focus on the latest opening policy, research results and annual reports, and create an authoritative platform for policy and information release. Two is to enrich the organization of procurement and docking activities. Set up experience zones, activity areas and negotiation areas with multiple dimensions to enhance the auxiliary functions of exhibition areas and enhance the effectiveness of exhibitions. The three is to strengthen the protection of international intellectual property rights. The fair will set up an intellectual property protection and commercial dispute handling service center to provide timely and effective protection of intellectual property rights for exhibitors and create an international intellectual property protection and exchange platform. The four is to promote exchanges and cooperation between local and provincial governments. Encourage and support local and international delegations to carry out investment promotion and project promotion, and enlarge the spillover effect of Expo.

Two. Progress on preparatory work

Since the beginning of this year, under the leadership of the organizing committee, we have worked hard in accordance with the overall plan and implementation plan approved by the Central Committee of the CPC. We have concentrated our efforts on "greater scale, better quality, stronger innovation, higher levels and better results". We have made overall preparations for the overall progress and achieved fruitful results.

There are several characteristics as follows:

At present, 61 countries have confirmed their participation in the exhibition, and 15 countries such as France and Italy have confirmed to be the host country. The second China Fair will continue to set up the China Pavilion, focusing on the theme of the 70th anniversary founding of new China, demonstrating the achievements of China's economic and social development and the new opportunities of the new era.

(two) business exhibition is difficult to meet. In our business exhibition, we have set up 7 exhibition areas: technology life, automobile, equipment, medical devices and medical care, quality life, service trade, food and agricultural products. At present, the recruitment work is basically over. There are so many characteristics: first, the exhibition scale is bigger. The exhibition area expanded to two square meters and increased to about 300000 square meters. Two, the scope of exhibition is broader. At present, there are more than 3000 enterprises from more than 150 countries and regions participating in the exhibition. The number of participating countries and regions and enterprises has exceeded the first. Three, the exhibition area is better. The new consumer product new area has increased the theme of providing for the aged, outdoor outdoor exhibition area, and outdoor car "driverless" activity area. The four is the higher quality of exhibition. The average exhibition area of the exhibitors reached 93 square meters, an increase of more than 20% over the first session. The number of the world's top 500 and the leading companies in the industry has exceeded more than 250. The first new products and technologies are expected to exceed the first.

(three) the Hongqiao forum has been steadily advancing. With the theme of "open innovation, win-win cooperation", the forum will invite the heads of relevant political and international organizations to give speeches.
