Wanda Invested 100 Billion Yuan To Build Film And TV Travel Projects In Changchun

Today (August 6th) morning, the Information Office of the State Council held a series of press conferences in provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities). At the press conference, Jing Junhai, governor of the Jilin Provincial People's government, said Wanda (special reading) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Changchun municipal government and decided to invest 100 billion yuan to build a film and television tourism project. The project will start construction in September.

Jing Junhai also revealed that Hengda invested 100 billion yuan in the comprehensive tourism project in Jilin, the Red Star Mei Kai Long Joint Shanghai Greenland Group invested 20 billion yuan in the "dream Jilin" project, and the major projects such as China's Internet of things were successfully implemented. The total investment of 50 billion yuan in the Sino Swiss LIAN ski town project is being planned and designed, and will start construction in the second half year.

It is understood that in 2015, Wanda invested in the construction of film and television cultural blocks in Changchun. The project has four super formats of five star movie and TV theme hotels, Wanda residence, high-end entertainment business and film theme blocks. It is a film and television theme commercial block with the core of film culture and Tourism, business, leisure and residential functions.

According to Wanda Group official website information, as of now, Wanda Group has 4 Wanda Plaza operating in Changchun, namely Changchun City Wanda Plaza, Changchun Chongqing road Wanda Plaza, Changchun Hongqi Street Wanda Plaza, Changchun Wide City Wanda Plaza.

It is worth noting that the Changchun film and television travel project is not Wanda's newly arrived cultural tourism project this year. According to incomplete statistics, since May, Wanda Group has signed several new cultural tourism projects in Chaozhou, Shenyang, Tianjin, Jizhou and Sichuan. In addition, there is news that Wanda will build a Wanda city in Yangluo, Wuhan.

In the first two years, Wanda has sold the 13 cultural tourism projects and its cultural management shares to Rong Chuang, which has the meaning of "completely withdraw from the Wen Cheng Cheng project". However, Wanda's recent move seems to be showing to the outside world that it has never "abandoned" its travel business.
