Expert Group Meeting On Implementation Of National Sericultural Industry Technology System Was Held In Heqing, Yunnan.

In from August 9th to 10th, the 2019 national expert group meeting on the implementation of sericultural industry technology system was held in Heqing County, Yunnan province. The conference was hosted by the Chief Scientist Office of the sericulture industry technology system and the Institute of sericulture and bee research, Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

The meeting was chaired by chief executive and chief scientist Lu Cheng. Members of the expert group, Liu Wen, member of the Standing Committee of the Heqing provincial Party committee and deputy county magistrate, the director of the county agricultural and rural Bureau, and the county tea mulberry fruit medicine Station attended the meeting. At the meeting, Liu Wen introduced the situation of Heqing county and the development of sericulture industry to the expert group. Subsequently, the expert group inspected the thousand mu high yield demonstration mulberry garden in Yindun village, and learned the cultivation and growth status of silkworm in Heqing county. The expert group went to Madi Qing village, Caohai Town, Caohai town to investigate the sericulture situation, sericulture, Amorphophallus and maize interplanting at 2500 meters above sea level, and to observe the breeding environment at the homes of the common families, and to understand the situation of mulberry cultivation and silkworm breeding and the income situation of the villagers in Madi Qing village. The expert group also went to the small silkworm rearing factory in Ruyi village, Hsin Tun Town, and conducted guidance on the rearing work of small silkworms.
