In September 25th, the founding ceremony of the Chinese Academy of dress culture was held in Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology. At the beginning of the ceremony, President Jia Ronglin introduced the participants and the main personnel of the China Clothing Culture Research Institute. He served as the chief advisor of the expert committee of the Research Institute, Professor Peng Lin, Professor of History Department of the Institute of humanities, Peng Lin, director of the International Confucian Association, Professor Xu Wanbang, Professor Yu, Professor of doctoral tutor, Liu Yuanfeng, director of Dunhuang fashion culture research and innovation design center, and more than 10 experts.


Subsequently, Ma Shengjie, Secretary of the Party committee of Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology and Dean of China Academy of dress culture, delivered a speech. He pointed out that the establishment of the China Academy of clothing culture has a milestone significance at the time when the establishment of People's Republic of China 70th anniversary and the establishment of Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology 60th anniversary.


In clarifying the background of the Institute's establishment, Ma Shengjie stressed that the Institute is fully implementing the opinions of the central government office and the State Council on carrying out the inheritance and development projects of Chinese traditional culture, and implementing the scientific research institutions established in Beijing under the multiple background of "promoting the reform and development of higher education in Beijing" and implementing the goal of building a "high-level characteristic university" under the multiple background of Beijing. The establishment of the Institute is aimed at vigorously carrying forward the fine traditional Chinese culture, linking up the research of high-end academic resources at home and abroad, and exploring the theoretical system of the historical development of Chinese clothing through in-depth study of clothing culture, and actively promoting the ancient and splendid clothing culture to better serve the image of the country and serve the people's life.


In his speech, Ma Shengjie also briefly introduced the preparatory work for the preparatory work of the Chinese clothing culture research institute before the establishment of the Institute.
