Some farmers in Huanggang have changed cotton poles to other crops, giving up seed cotton harvest at the later stage; three, field management, agricultural aging and cotton yield decline, resulting in farmers relaxing the field management, postponing sowing time, fertilizer input and management at will, resulting in single production and quality decline. Although the average yield per unit area of the province has decreased overall, Xiantao and some parts of Hanchuan reflect that the growth of cotton is still good this year. The main reasons for the difference in yield are three points, one is cotton.


At present, the average price of seed cotton sale in the province is around 2.8 yuan / kg, down by 0.4-0.5 yuan / kg compared with last year, reducing yield per unit area and reducing price directly.
