Tang Jun, Secretary General of China Chemical Fiber Industry Association, outlined: in recent years, China's Nylon industry has been developing rapidly. Deng Jun believes that the nylon industry should establish a sustainable development system based on technological innovation. "From the links of the industrial chain, the technical innovation of caprolactam, the upgrading of nylon polymerization technology and the improvement of nylon spinning technology are important means to achieve sustainable development. Look, energy saving and emission reduction, clean production technology and intelligent manufacturing technology will promote the development and growth of the industry. " Deng Jun said.

    In this forum, insiders pointed out that with the development of China's economy and the improvement of the overall cost performance of nylon, a considerable part of the high-end market of polyester will be replaced by nylon with better performance and better price performance.     In recent years, the self-sufficiency rate of caprolactam in China has increased significantly. By the end of 2018, the total capacity reached 3 million 690 thousand tons, and the self-sufficiency rate increased from about 35.6% in 2009 to 94.6%. Wang Songlin pointed out that in the next few years, the domestic caprolactam industry will continue to develop rapidly. It is estimated that by 2025, the total production capacity of caprolactam in China will be close to 10 million t/a.

    The improvement of caprolactam self-sufficiency rate will reduce the production cost of China's Nylon industry, and the technological progress of caprolactam will also support the development of the whole industry chain. Wang Songlin believes that the development trend of caprolactam preparation technology mainly involves three aspects, including cyclohexanone preparation, hydrogen peroxide preparation and caprolactam preparation three blocks. For example, in the preparation of cyclohexanone, the existing process has no catalytic oxidation process, such as material consumption, high energy consumption, high environmental pressure, low overall conversion rate, high energy consumption, limited capacity of single unit, and limited use of acetone in by-product, while new technology development needs to solve the problems of material consumption, high energy consumption and production capacity of single set of devices.

    Yi Chunwang, Professor of Hunan Normal University, introduced the green preparation method of caprolactam based polyamide. He pointed out that in the preparation process, a suitable combination of binary acid and two component amine should be selected. Caprolactam is also used as raw material and good solvent for high melting point monomer. Because free radicals and amino groups exist in the system, the caprolactam ring opening reaction can also be induced without water and amino hexanoate. Thus, a series of functional caprolactam copolymers with different unit structures can be prepared, and the process of salt formation and late stage water removal can be avoided.

    Sustainable development has become the focus of the whole industry chain.

    At present, the development of the world chemical fiber industry is facing the constraints of resources and environmental pressures. Synthetic fiber takes petroleum as the basic raw material, oil is non renewable resources, synthetic fiber is not degradable, and the carbon emissions in production process are large. At present, most of the waste textiles are being used as landfill or incineration. The research of third party organizations abroad thinks that the global "marine micro plastic pollution" mostly comes from textiles. These factors seriously restrict the sustainable development of synthetic fibers. To solve these problems, enterprises need to work hard in 4 aspects: biological sources, recycling, biodegradation, and green manufacturing.
