China Textile Institute Takes The Lead In Formulating, "Reuse Daily Protective Mask" Group Standard Release.
Recently, The group standard of T/CSTM 00387-2020 "multiplex daily respirator" developed by general technology group, China spinning center and subordinate spinning standard company respectively as standard first and second drafting units is officially released. The standard will be put into practice in July 29, 2020. The implementation of this standard will provide important technical support for the production, purchase and supervision of reusable daily respirators.
Since the outbreak of the new crown pneumonia outbreak, the demand for daily protective masks has been blowout in all parts of the country, and the dilemma of "hard to find a mask" has spawned the upsurge of expanding production. This "emergency" situation has played a very important role in the prevention and control of epidemic situation. The disposable protective masks are limited in storage period and quantity, such as epidemics and other emergencies. It is difficult to meet the demand once the emergency occurs, and the reuse type daily protective masks are made of special materials, which can be used for a longer period of time and can be stored for a long time to meet the emergency needs. The problem of garbage disposal has also resulted in a waste of resources to some extent. The standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, storage and transportation of the reusable daily respirators. It is suitable for filtering particles in the air in daily life, blocking respirable respirators worn by dust, smoke, droplets, microbes, pollen and catkins.
