Aksu: In The First 10 Months, 48 Textile And Garment Enterprises Above The Designated Size Achieved An Industrial Added Value Of 1.09 Billion Yuan

On November 21, I came to the workshop of Xinjiang Houli Textile Technology Co., Ltd., located in Kuqa economic and Technological Development Zone, and saw more than 100 workers busy making orders. Most of them come from low-income families in surrounding townships (towns) and take up their posts after free training by the government.

The company is a technology-based cotton spinning enterprise, business scope includes textile jacquard technology research and development, wool yarn, cotton yarn production and sales, natural fiber, chemical fiber, textile machinery and textile products sales. In 2018, the company invested 200 million yuan to start construction and put it into production in April this year. With the support of a series of preferential policies, the company has increased its efforts in product research and development, and its products sell well in the mainland market.

Yang Guodong, general manager of the company, said: "since the company was put into operation, it has strengthened management and improved product quality, and the products have been widely recognized by customers."

In Aksu textile industrial city (Development Zone), in addition to a number of key textile and garment leading enterprises such as Huafu sefang, the first large-scale unmanned helicopter project in Xinjiang has been steadily promoted here, and the first batch of three experimental UAVs have been successfully tested in the near future.

According to the information and Industry Bureau of Aksu region, since this year, the region has vigorously promoted the development of key industries. According to the general idea of "grasping both ends, taking the middle, making up the weak points, and strengthening the weak points", we should focus on stabilizing the front spinning, expanding the weaving, printing and dyeing, planning the intermediate industries such as polyester chemical fiber and auxiliary materials, optimizing the downstream home textile clothing, and building a textile and garment industry system with outstanding characteristics and sustainable development. From January to October, 48 textile and garment enterprises above the designated size achieved industrial added value of 1.09 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.8%, accounting for 5.3% of the regional industrial added value above designated scale. We will continue to focus on the construction of key projects and steadily expand the industrial scale. The newly added spinning scale is 260000 spindles, and the new weaving scale is 7.27 million meters. By the end of October, 481 textile and garment enterprises had been registered, with 40000 employment driven by the industry, and 10026 new jobs were created during the year. Promote the high-quality development of strategic emerging industries, adhere to the strategic emerging industries as a strong grasp of "stable growth, structural adjustment, and promotion of transformation", focus on emerging industries such as new materials, new energy, energy conservation and environmental protection, promote the construction of key projects, deeply tap the potential of enterprises to upgrade their scale, and cultivate and expand the industrial scale. From January to October, 35 strategic emerging industry enterprises above Designated Size realized industrial added value of 752 million yuan, an increase of 2% over the same period of last year, accounting for 3.6% of the added value of industries above scale in the region. Jialun tire 1.2 million engineering tires were successfully put into operation, and key projects such as Jingshi unmanned helicopter, production and assembly of Kewo new energy automobile retail parts, Shengtuo tire, and deo elevator were implemented in an orderly manner.
