Since 2019, Pingnan has introduced two leading textile and garment enterprises, Shifang group with a total investment of 12 billion yuan and Guannan group with a total investment of 3 billion yuan, which has driven 252 upstream and downstream enterprises to settle down. In just three years, the textile and garment industry cluster has taken shape.

Pingnan County aims to attract investment in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Bay area, focuses on introducing leading enterprises in textile and garment industry and upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain, and focuses on building a new textile and clothing fashion zone in China (Guigang). The new area covers an area of 61 square kilometers, with a total investment of 34 billion yuan. The project covers spinning, weaving, printing and dyeing, garment making, sewing plate, matching buttons, zippers, packaging, logistics, etc.

Pingnan County is weaving a new fashion district with "one yarn"!

The exhibition center is a supporting construction project of fashion new area, with a total investment of 516 million yuan and a construction area of 92000 square meters. After completion, it will become an important exhibition and trading platform for Pingnan and Guigang textile and garment industry.

The textile and clothing industrial park of Shifang group in the fashion new area covers an area of 2000 mu. At present, there are 44 enterprises settled in the park, 14 of which have been started, 6 have been completed and put into operation, and 3 have been put into trial production.

In the Weilian printing and dyeing workshop, white fabrics are bleached, dyed and shaped, and then turned into cloth of various colors. After being packaged, they are sent to all parts of the country. The company signed a contract in July 2020 and now produces 30 tons of finished cloth a day.

In order to promote the construction of fashion new area, Pingnan has deepened the construction of expansion projects. More than 3 billion yuan has been invested to build 11 roads and 250000 square meters of standard factory buildings. The construction of commercial complexes, schools, sports venues, public rental housing and other related supporting facilities are being accelerated. In August 2021, fashion new area was awarded the title of "national textile industry transfer pilot park" by China Textile Industry Federation, which is one of the two parks in China.

Nolan clothing, which is about to be put into production, is the first enterprise to complete the completion acceptance among 108 wool textile enterprises introduced by Guannan group. After reaching the production capacity, it can produce 3 million pieces of woolen clothing, with an annual output value of 120 million yuan and 400 jobs. According to the person in charge of the construction of the park, the fashion new area employs experts to carry out the planning and layout of the industrial chain upstream and downstream, and improves the industrial chain from the aspects of auxiliary material production, logistics base and technical training of industrial workers, so as to reduce enterprise costs and obtain maximum benefits for enterprises.

The abundant local labor resources ensure the employment demand of enterprises. Siji textile company has more than 200 workers, 70% of whom are from Pingnan. "Now it's the peak season of production, and there are plenty of orders," said Lu Dingjie, the administrative manager. The park is actively helping them solve the steam problem, and the production speed will be faster after the new boilers are put into use.

Long Xuejun, who lives in Da'an Town, Pingnan County, used to work as a migrant worker. Knowing that a large textile park was being built in his hometown, he returned to his hometown for development. In July 2021, he was employed as the administrative personnel manager of a printing and dyeing enterprise. "It's good to be able to take care of the family after work, even with the same position in Guangdong," he said.

The textile printing and dyeing industrial park adopts technologies such as combined heat and power supply and centralized sewage treatment to reduce pollution. After the project is completed, it can print 2480 tons / day of cloth and 200000 tons / day of sewage treatment.

The project should be put into production and put into operation as early as possible.
