2024 National Standards Committee Annual Meeting And Standards Examination And Approval Meeting Were Successfully Held In Zhengzhou, Henan

From August 22 to 23, the 2024 annual meeting and standards examination and approval meeting of the National Household Textiles Standardization Technical Committee (hereinafter referred to as the "National Standards Committee") was successfully held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. The meeting was hosted by Jiangsu Textile Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Institute, the Secretariat of the National Standards Committee. 89 representatives, including experts from all over the country, standard drafting units, and producers, operators, consumers, and public interests in the home textile field, attended the meeting.

　　 Yang Zhaohua It was pointed out that the Secretariat of the National Standards Committee should continue to maintain the pace of formulating standards in close connection with the development needs of the industry, so as to synchronize the standardization work with the national strategy; We should continue to give full play to the appeal of the industry and make deep efforts in helping enterprises achieve digital transformation and service upgrading; It is necessary to strengthen the application research of new materials and technologies in the home textile field, strengthen the cooperation with universities and research institutes, explore the establishment of a standard dynamic evaluation mechanism, promote the development of home textile carbon footprint standards, and help the high-quality development of the home textile industry.

　　 Han Yuru This paper introduces the present situation of textile standardization work and the requirements of national policies in detail, analyzes and affirms the achievements of the standardization work of the whole National Standards Committee in the field of household textiles, and puts forward three suggestions: first, strengthen the development of innovative standards closely around the new trend of the industry; Second, continue to promote and implement standards, and give full play to the effectiveness of standards; The third is to strengthen the training of compound talents and forge a standardized team with rich experience.

The meeting specially invited Yu Xiaojun, Vice President of Changzhou Institute of Inspection and Testing Standards Certification and Zhao Junhui, President of China Textile City Curtain Fabric Association And made technical reports on the Compilation of Service Standards and Panoramic Insight into the Curtain Fabric Industry. The content of the report was highly praised by the participants and received warm responses.

In order to help the member units and participating enterprises better understand and use the standards, the conference organized the newly issued standards under the jurisdiction of Jiangsu Textile Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Institute, the Secretariat of the National Standards Commission, to promote and implement the GB/T 22800-2023 Textiles for Tourist Hotels GB/T 42999-2023 Household Textiles - Determination of Light Shading Properties of Fabrics - Illuminometer Method and FZ/T 62047-2023 Bath Towels.

The meeting also approved three industry standards, namely, Sweat Towels for Infants and Children, Washable Quilts and Shower Curtain.
