Support Employees' Family Care And Warm Escort From Home To "Home" - Gaozhou Rongcheng Promotes FFF Practice
Since the China Textile Industry Federation launched the pilot project of "building a 'family friendly' textile and clothing enterprise" in 2022, the first phase of the project has now come to an end. This number will successively share the best practices of the pilot enterprises in the first phase of the FFF project. The second phase of the project is now open. Gaozhou Rongcheng Sports Goods Co., Ltd., founded in 2016, is the first football manufacturer in western Guangdong. The enterprise specializes in producing all kinds of hand sewing, car sewing, leather covering, high and middle grade football, volleyball, rugby and other sports goods. It has 231 employees, 95% of whom are local employees. It is a small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprise with localized characteristics.

In September 2023, Gaozhou Rongcheng officially joined the FFF pilot project with the support of PUMA (Puma), and completed the preliminary evaluation under the guidance of the FFF expert team of the Social Responsibility Office of China Textile Federation. According to the preliminary evaluation suggestions of the FFF expert team, further standardize the management of relevant systems of the enterprise's FFF, and start to develop the overall work plan of "promoting employee family friendship"; In November 2023, the enterprise participated in the two-day FFF special training organized by the FFF expert team of the Social Responsibility Office of China Textile Federation; In December of the same year, the enterprise completed the revision of FFF related system documents; In January 2024, the enterprise officially released the Family Friendly Enterprise Policy; Subsequently, the enterprise successively carried out internal training, carried out policy propaganda, and made full use of external resources to carry out training, for example, invited local women's federation experts to carry out anti domestic violence training for all staff; It also established the Women's Federation of Enterprises and the Women's Federation Studio.

During the implementation of the FFF pilot project, the family needs of enterprises for employees have become more clear and three-dimensional, especially the Family Friendly Factory Action Guide. This guide is for employees. It introduces in detail the policy interpretation, application process, policy support and other contents related to friendly families, helps employees fully understand and fully share the rights and interests involved in the family friendly factory action, and promotes the efficient dissemination and implementation of FFF policies.

Employee family care leave
According to the latest statistics of the enterprise, the average age of employees is 39 years old, and the proportion of employees with children in their families is up to 93%. While facing increasing work pressure, employees also have to shoulder the burden of family roles. How to help employees find a balance between work and family has become the focus of enterprises.
The enterprise gives priority to supporting employees' family care to carry out specific actions. On the basis of guaranteeing statutory paid marriage leave, maternity leave, childcare leave and other welfare leave, it has also set up special family care leave to provide employees with support for children's education and family care needs, and allows employees to apply for special leave when necessary to meet the urgent needs of caring for family members.

Home Care Leave | "School Leave"
In combination with the survey and interview results of employees at the initial stage of the FFF project, the enterprise has noticed that employees have a universal demand for their children's school holidays. In February 2024, the enterprise pioneered the "school leave" welfare system, allowing eligible employees to enjoy half a day of paid leave every semester to accompany their children to complete school registration.
At present, the enterprise's "school leave" policy has formed a set of standardized management processes, and each step of operation from application to approval has clear provisions:
Scope of application
All employees of the company whose children are in the kindergarten to the ninth grade school year.
Application materials
Birth certificate or household register of children, school registration notice (copy).
Holiday period
At the beginning of each semester, employees can take half a day off with pay, and the specific date is determined according to the school start date of the child.
Application conditions
After receiving the child's school start notice, the employee needs to submit an application for leave to the department head and send a copy to the Human Resources Department to arrange work and record the leave.
Review and approval
The HR Department shall set up a project team to review the application for leave, and record and file it after the approval.
Suggestions&Feedback
The HR Department records the use of school leave by employees and regularly collects their feedback so as to continuously optimize and improve the "school leave" policy.
By the beginning of school in the spring of 2024, 104 employees in all workshops and departments of the enterprise had enjoyed the "school leave" benefit, which benefited nearly 50% of employees. The enterprise provided 416 hours of "school leave" for employees, which was well received by employees.

Employee's Home Care Leave | Family Care Leave
The enterprise provides 5 days of nursing leave every year for the only child whose parents are over 60 years old, and provides no more than 15 days of nursing leave for the employee's family members who are sick and hospitalized. Employees can submit applications to the Human Resources Department for processing by virtue of certificates and relevant case certificates.
