At present, AIGC technology has been widely used in apparel design and development, virtual fitting, supply chain optimization, talent cultivation, market scale prediction and other fields. In the 2024 "Qiudu Cup" China Fur Fashion Creative Design Competition, which has just concluded its preliminary evaluation, nearly one fifth of the submitted works have adopted AIGC technology for auxiliary design.
Zhang Cuizhu, Vice President and Secretary General of Textile Light Science and Technology Education Foundation, said that AI has been widely used in the design, manufacturing, brand and other aspects of the textile industry. AIGC is not intended to replace human beings, but to become a tool that can be used by human beings. It can empower fashion designers and help them present their ideas more intuitively and efficiently.
