Foreign Trade Data: Analysis Of China'S Textile And Clothing Export Volume In The First Ten Months

According to statistics, China's textile and clothing exports from January to October totaled 248.25 billion US dollars, up 1.7%. The export of textile and clothing in October was 25.48 billion US dollars, up 11%.

From January to October, textile exports reached US $116.77 billion, up 4.2%; Garment exports totaled US $131.78 billion, down 0.5%.

The textile export in October was 12.39 billion US dollars, up 16.1%; Clothing exports reached 13.09 billion US dollars, up 8.1%.

From January to October, exports to the United States increased by 7.2%, including 6.6% for knitted and woven clothing; Exports to ASEAN increased by 6.4% year on year, of which intermediate products increased by 11.2%; Exports to the EU increased by 3.6%, including 1% for knitted and woven garments; Exports to Japan declined by 8.8%, including knitted and tattered clothing, which declined by 9.7%.

From January to October, exports to 152 "Belt and Road" countries reached US $132.09 billion, up 0.5% year on year, accounting for 53.2% of the total exports.

From January to October, yarn export increased by 0.5% and fabric export increased by 4.9%; The export volume of household textiles increased by 4.1%; The export volume of knitted and tatting clothing decreased by 0.5%. In terms of quantity and price, except for yarn, the export volume of the other three categories of commodities is on the rise, while the export price continues to decline.
