Entering Malaysia'S "Historic Han Costume And Chinese Pattern Exhibition"

The opening ceremony of the "Historic Han Costume and Chinese Pattern Exhibition" was held at the Asian Art Museum of the University of Malaya on the evening of October 10, with the Ganmeilan percussion music full of southern customs, the melodious erhu music, and the Han Costume catwalk with elegant clothes.

As one of the series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia and the 15th anniversary of the founding of the Confucius Institute at the University of Malaya, this exhibition is hosted by the Confucius Institute at the University of Malaya. The exhibits cover representative Han suits from the Qin and Han Dynasties to the Ming Dynasty, presenting rich aesthetic and cultural connotations.

Nur Azouan, President of the University of Malaya, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony, saying that with the help of Han Suit, a traditional dress bearing Chinese history and art, the exhibition fully demonstrated China's rich cultural heritage, allowing the audience to deeply understand and appreciate the uniqueness and diversity of Chinese culture.

The exhibition hall was crowded with visitors, who either stopped to watch or take photos as souvenirs, all of which were attracted by the exquisite patterns and complex processes of Han clothing. Tu Lishi, a Kuala Lumpur citizen, sighed: "The patterns and patterns of the Han style clothes are exquisite and beautiful, and the design of each Han style clothes is full of stories."

Chang Shan, Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia, said that this exhibition is not only a visual feast of Hanfu, but also a vivid demonstration of Chinese civilization, etiquette, culture, artistic aesthetics, philosophical wisdom and lifestyle.

At the opening ceremony, a Hanfu catwalk brought the atmosphere to a climax. Izatil from Malaysia wore a Ming made Han suit, with cloud shoulders like clouds and skirt dancing gently, and won bursts of applause at the scene. After the show, she excitedly told the Xinhua News Agency reporter, "Today is my first time to experience the Hanfu. The shape of this Hanfu originated from the Ming Dynasty, and it is beautifully designed and full of charm. I feel extremely proud to wear it."

At the exhibition site, the audience can not only enjoy the physical objects of Hanfu at a close distance, but also immersively experience the traditional cultural values contained in Hanfu through video display and interactive games.

"This is a good opportunity for the young generation to learn about Chinese traditional culture," said Nur Zalina, president of the Confucius Institute at the University of Malaya in Malaysia. "I hope this exhibition can deepen Malaysian people's understanding of China and promote cultural exchanges between the two peoples."

The Confucius Institute at the University of Malaya has carried out a variety of cultural activities since its establishment more than ten years ago, and has become an important bridge to promote educational and cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and Malaysia.

Zhao Wanzhen, the Chinese president of the Confucius Institute at the University of Malaya, said that although learning Chinese takes time, the Chinese culture hidden in daily life, such as clothing, food, housing and transportation, can achieve cross national spiritual communication without language. Malaysia Clothing Booth is specially set up for this exhibition. Among them, Kabaya, a traditional costume in Southeast Asia, is particularly eye-catching. In appearance, Kabaya integrates many Chinese elements, which is a vivid portrayal of the interaction between Chinese culture and local culture.

"Kabaya and the Ming Dynasty's' Jin Zi 'have similarities, just like a cultural bridge, connecting the historical traditions and aesthetic concepts of the two countries, and embodying the concept of' each beauty and its beauty, beauty and common '.
