Zhou Jianzhong: $200 In Business Success In The US

    2007/8/5 0:00:00 10

Many Chinese immigrants who are interested in starting a business in the United States, or because they are not familiar with the environment or are worried about the unknown future, Zhou Jianzhong, chairman of Asian Business Association, in June 25th, encouraged herself to take the initiative to start quickly with the same strength. Everyone has the potential to become an entrepreneur.

According to the US daily news, Zhou Jianzhong, who is currently a director of the United Bank, recalls that he had been in the south of California for more than 20 years ago, and it was as if he had seen yesterday.

He said that entrepreneurship is not easy, of course, only those who have experienced it can experience it personally. But the achievements and satisfaction in the process of continuous progress and the pride of sitting in the office looking around the kingdom he founded are all the driving force to encourage him to keep moving forward.

Zhou Jianzhong encouraged Chinese Americans to start their own businesses with "business opportunities everywhere".

He said that compared with most white people who enjoy a stable life, the habit of fixing their salaries, the spirit of Chinese adventure and the nature of being fond of small businesses can start with choosing the industries they like and build their own small kingdoms.

He suggested that Chinese Americans who want to start their own businesses should not blindly follow the so-called "promising" areas, but choose the industries that they are interested in and willing to get along with each other everyday, so that they can enjoy their work and face the challenges every day with a happy mood.

Zhou Jianzhong thinks that "Japanese Beauty" is a good example for us to take the "big America" as the target market.

He said that due to language barriers and cowardice of unfamiliar surroundings, Chinese Americans often limit the target market to the "Chinese community" and face the dilemma that the market can not develop.

Comparatively speaking, most of the Japanese Americans who start their business now belong to the second or third generation immigrants. They not only speak English as their mother tongue but also identify themselves as "American", and the development of the market will naturally not be confined to the Japanese community.

Zhou Jianzhong believes that there is no such thing as "Chinatown". Even if Chinese entrepreneurs start to become more familiar with the Chinese market, they should remind themselves to "enter the American society" as the goal, not only in small circles, but also boldly "go out".

Zhou Jianzhong also reminded Chinese Americans not to "do their work in a hurry".

He said that because of their cultural background and shy nature, Chinese people are not very accustomed to seeking help from outside. In fact, when faced with a completely different environment from their home country, there are many public welfare organizations or non-profit organizations that can help entrepreneurs. Even from raising funds, finding talents and making contracts, they can get twice the result with half the effort with the help of organizations.

In addition, Zhou Jianzhong revealed that in order to protect the rights and interests of ethnic minorities, the US government has limited the number of local companies to a certain extent, and stipulates that a certain percentage of contracts must be released to ethnic minority enterprises, which are the "big cakes" that Chinese small enterprises can master.
