Reasons For The "Alternative" Of The Braid Rich Woman Gong Xin
Super rich, braid women, Century Heritage case, in the eyes of the media at home and abroad, Nina Wang, 68, is very different.
According to the 2005 annual list of the world's richest men released by Forbes magazine in March 11th, "Chairlady" Nina Wang, the largest Private Companies in Hongkong, has become the only woman in the Asian region with the net assets of 3 billion 100 million dollars, ranking fifth in Hongkong, where the rich are gathered.
But it is amazing that Chairman Gong, who owns many multinational companies, never wears a professional costume. On the contrary, "mini skirt + goat horn braid" is her signature dress for many years.
Moreover, at the end of 2001, she co worked with Igarashi Yumiko, the original author of the Japanese cartoons "Britney Spears", to launch a serial comic "Britney Spears Nina Nina" which was modeled after her legendary life. Britney Spears Nina Wang was also famous.
Nina Wang, who is a personal assistant to Wang Liquan, feels very deeply and admiration for the "lively mentality of day to day". Wang Liquan said that many times he could not feel that "Chairman Gong" was a person who had been over the flower.
A Taiwan businessman who had been with Nina Wang for many years thought that Hongkong and even the world business community were all men's world. But since her husband Wang Dehui was kidnapped in April 1980, this natural woman was forced to carry the banner of the Huamao Group. Especially after Wang Dehui's "whereabouts" in 1990, Nina Wang, who was mourning the loss of her husband, was very miserable and helpless. "Super young" dress and deliberate smile were the best way to release her pressure.
Since 1997, Wang Dehui has been law-breaking for about 20000000000 years, and Wang has been fighting for 8 years with Nina Wang. The cost of litigation has reached 200 million Hong Kong dollars and even been involved in various forces in Hongkong and Southeast Asia. The court of final appeal of Hongkong will make the final ruling in July 11th this year.
According to the theory, a single woman with no child and no daughter will be crushed, but Nina Wang's "alternative" is still "innocent".
Like maverick Nina Wang, her Huamao Group is the only non-listed company in Hongkong's five largest real estate tycoons. Apart from listing the names of the more than 200 completed estates, it has no core information such as management, investment dynamics and business performance.
But in fact, there are more than 700 real estate projects in Hongkong, with more than 10 million properties, and a large number of real estate, biochemical, environmental protection, pportation, finance, agriculture, entertainment and industrial projects in the mainland and in the United Kingdom and the United States.
10 more than a year ago, the mainland property investment boom, including Chang Shi, Sun Hung Kai, Henderson, new world and other Hongkong consortia went north, and even built their landmark properties in the downtown area of Beijing. However, Hua Mao group did the opposite. Apart from building a trade center in Beijing and Gongzhufen, it invested three "processing plants" such as "Shuanghui ham sausage" in underdeveloped Henan province.
Unlike Hong Kong businessmen who "seize" the economic importance of the mainland, Nina Wang is a "go west" activist. In the past two years, she has invested about 2000000000 yuan in Gansu, Inner Mongolia and Xinjiang.
Although Forbes magazine once listed her as "one of the most powerful women in the world", Nina Wang showed more characteristics of "Little Women" in her hands and feet, especially in her sentence, "being a woman is very cost-effective, and going out to dinner often does not need to give money", which is very good for the young women nowadays.
Another example of "laughing and laughing" is to talk about the situation of buying land in Hongkong. Nina Wang said that her husband and wife were "outsiders" and had to spend a lot of money on building houses. Those farmers in Hong Kong were worth a lot of money when they randomly turned out a few acres. Compared with them, "we are helpless and miserable!"
Perhaps there is no more "muddle headed" rich person in the world today. Because when it comes to any number related problems, she will say, "I am very stupid about numbers, and I always can't remember clearly or have specific concepts, not deliberately perfunctory you." Nina Wang.
However, some people believe that because the inheritance of "getting bigger and bigger" is directly related to the control of Huamao Group, Nina Wang not only did not list it, but also talked about her personal wealth. She would also deliberately avoid it. "Chairman Gong is a very intelligent person. Her IQ is more than three MBA sum."
This is confirmed by her series of investment activities.
The most convincing thing was that in 1993, Nina Wang, who took over the Huamao Group in 1993, invested 300 million Hong Kong dollars in one fell swoop, bought 14.08% of the British Real Estate Company, and earned two Hong Kong dollars two years later. Now this company has become one of the British real estate giants.
As one of the richest women in the world, Nina Wang is very simple.
Nina Wang is obviously a lively person.
In the process of receiving media interviews, she answered four questions and gave her a smile. If strangers entered the room, she would even suspend the sentence after half a sentence, then immediately stood up and held out a hand and said, "Hello, Nina Wang."
Nina Wang, who had a short haircut, changed his mini skirt into elastic tights. Though no longer "avant-garde", it was still like a panda's eye socket, a red cotton velvet vest and a pair of black heels. It is easy to see the signs of youth.
Nina Wang is very conceited about her artistic talent. If she is not the wrong arrangement of fate, she may be an outstanding painter or musician.
Perhaps because of this, her language is very leaping, though it is always gushing.
It is also said that Nina Wang is more likely to be a fashion designer.
In contrast to the images of "strong woman" and "cold blooded capitalist", Nina Wang's voice is crisp and soft, and can be said to be kindly. With every few words, he laughs and laughs in the air.
"Economy": in 1955, when you were 18 years old, you married from Shanghai to Hongkong. Can you briefly describe the years after your marriage?
Nina Wang: my husband and I grew up in Shanghai and grew up together. When I was 12 years old and I was 15 years old, we began to fall in love.
In 1954, I had been in College for half a year, but I was in a mess and I was not in good health. I applied to Hongkong to get married.
My father's father was a successful businessman in Shanghai, but when I failed in business in Hongkong, my husband had to shoulder the heavy responsibility.
Because before doing business in western medicine, chemical raw materials and other businesses in Shanghai, it was also a small business after Hongkong. Later, my husband discovered that the prospect of a new material called plastic is very good. We import it from other countries and sell it to plastic belts and plastic toys in Hongkong.
The export of plastic products in Hongkong was also very strong at that time.
After I went to Hongkong, I studied in a famous American Catholic school, Marino, learning English and some basic business knowledge. On the other hand, because of his limited staffs, I went to the company to help him after class, and I went back with him at night.
I didn't have children, and I didn't stay at home for a year or so. Instead, I worked with my husband.
We start slowly from the bottom, and the company will be quite large by 1960.
My husband is very capable. I follow him every day. Actually, I have many things in his church.
"Economy": in that era, business should be a man's business, but you put your heart into it. As a Shanghai woman, do you not want to be a petty bourgeois wife?
Nina Wang: up to now, there are few female businessmen. The society seems to be dominated by men.
Shanghai is a relatively petty City, but I am a very active person. I can't sit at home. Whenever I have time, I run to the company. At first I am very busy in the company. I often run to the "youth fair" to take classes in painting, dancing and other classes. I like them very much, but I have no time to go on.
Economy: then when did you become interested in business and gradually do things on your own?
Nina Wang: in 1960, a friend of a plastic factory who had a good relationship with his husband and wife said that he had a piece of land to build a house and invite us to participate. This led to the pformation of our industry to the real estate industry.
At that time, I jumped up and down to study and learn this, but it was not very qualitative. It was all done by my husband.
Later, we began to buy our own houses. Instead of taking the land, we wrapped it up for others and sold it to others. Instead, we did everything from piling to construction, installation of pipelines and sales, and even subsequent installment payments. Therefore, more and more things were going to be busy. My husband pulled me up and told me to do it.
A few years later, I found that building a house was also fun and familiar with many aspects.
Economy: with the growth of Huamao's real estate business, is there any division between your husband and wife?
Nina Wang: there is one thing, that is, choosing land, buying land, making cement and moving steel bar, and so on. I will go to the site to see the building materials and the color of the outer wall, so as to avoid Jerry building and quality.
My husband is introverted and does not like to talk with others, so I do something like "external" matters such as communicating with the government, getting in touch with banks, and selling houses in the late stage.
[Page] other people are very strange, do real estate hardly need to consider their own steel and cement and other trivial matters, because we can hire a variety of construction teams, we have to do every specific thing for ourselves, one day is mainly spent on the construction site.
Right now, I usually go to the construction site on Sunday.
This may be related to our slave life.
Economy: has your husband and wife career gone smoothly?
Nina Wang: at that time, Hongkong was relatively backward, there were not many new houses, and many people were crowded in narrow houses.
Once my mother came here, he resolutely disagreed with my younger brothers and sisters, so they came to Hongkong very late. My brother came out in 1980.
It is very hard for us to start a business in such an environment. We can only buy a piece of land, sell it and buy another piece, and accumulate slowly on our own.
The farmers in Hongkong are better than us. It is worth a lot of money when people turn out a little farm land. We are outsiders. Every inch of land has to spend money. We are helpless. What a pity!
Before and after 1980, Hongkong came to the economic crisis. We did not borrow a lot of money, so it was relatively stable. Some people who borrowed money and landed property fell down in the wind and waves. We looked very big. There were three thousand or four thousand workers, often 10 big projects together, and I became more and more busy. I had no time to learn how to dance and draw.
When does Chinese Mao start to enter the mainland?
What kind of industry are you engaged in?
Nina Wang: in 1992, the governor of Henan went to Hongkong to mobilize me to take a look at Henan.
Subsequently, I invested in Henan Huamao Electric Power Co., Ltd., Shuanghui Industrial (Group) Co., Ltd. and Qinyang Huamao Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd., which invested more than 400 million yuan RMB, of which Shuanghui was on the verge of bankruptcy before its investment. Now it has become the largest meat product enterprise in China.
The investment was good at that time. After we took the cost back, we still had a lot of money every year.
Maybe because I made money, they all came to Henan mule River later, including many of my friends in Taiwan.
Economy: did it expand in other parts of the mainland?
Nina Wang: I am very strange that I did not invest in the mainland as much as many businessmen in Hongkong.
To be honest, because some locals have to take care of their own interests, Henan's investment is not smooth. For example, the power plant has done a good job, but it has sold electricity to local enterprises at a low price. I am a major shareholder in 70% of the shares. Where can I recover my money?
At that time, many Hongkong people came to the mainland to make real estate. When I looked at the relevant regulations, I found that I could not understand them, so there was little investment in real estate.
"Economy": Recently, many businessmen in Hongkong say that the mainland is the best place for their development and the investment environment has greatly improved. Are you still not moved?
Nina Wang: I have seen this, especially in Beijing and Shanghai, so I invested in more than 50 top supermarkets in Shanghai, set up software development companies in Tsinghua and Peking University in Beijing, invested in biological medicine in Guangdong, and invested in agriculture and aquaculture in several western cities.
Economy: is it not based on risk considerations that Huamao is investing in the mainland like other big groups in Hongkong?
