Book Giants Take Advantage Of Foreign Capital For The Two Time
An interview with Zhang Qingshui, chairman of the big voice company, in the Chinese book market, the international giants represented by Bertelsmann, the giant of state-owned enterprises represented by Xinhua Bookstore and the three party game of many private new power of book industry have attracted the attention of all parties.
Statistics show that 30% of China's book market share comes from private enterprises.
Statistics show that in 2001, there were 15 billion 600 million books, 35 billion newspapers and 2 billion 900 million periodicals, with a total turnover of nearly 100 billion yuan.
Yesterday, Zhang Qingshui, chairman of Da Yin company, accepted an exclusive interview with our reporter.
In the past, it has been the first to introduce foreign capital.
As a matter of fact, the business of big voice has doubled in recent years. Why do we have to introduce foreign capital?
Zhang: as a private enterprise in the book industry, we are faced with great competition pressure.
In the nearly 20 thousand newspapers and periodicals distribution outlets in Guangdong, there are only more than 440 state-owned Bookstore outlets, accounting for 3%, while the rest are privately owned, but the sales of state owned outlets last year amounted to about 4000000000 yuan, accounting for more than half of the market.
Why?
The difficulty of financing is the core problem of all the private book industry. Great sound is well done, and objectively needs cooperation.
So, what do you mean by using the capital strength of foreign capital to promote the two venture of this private book industry?
I agree with you.
As a matter of fact, due to the relatively low threshold of publishing industry and the protection of industries for many years, there are so many enterprises in the small family shops, and there are very few modern businesses in the real sense.
What the big voice needs to do is to carry out strategic adjustment and do well in internal strength.
The two venture of the company is divided into several levels, including strengthening book delivery and book data processing services. It is possible to set up a new specialized logistics distribution company.
It also includes the establishment of new business of e-commerce: the first National Library and information industry portal and e-commerce platform developed by Da Yin, China's Library and information network was opened for trial operation in June 6th.
In addition, Da Yin company has also entered the field of film and television column planning and production, and the first educational column "campus express train" has been launched in Guangdong with the public channel of Tai Yin company.
Why can it be the first to win the favor of foreign investors?
He Heng, President of the Baofeng group, said that what he valued most is the big voice young and passionate team. Is that so?
Zhang: Zhang (laughter) indeed.
What Baofeng values is the talent and popularity of big voice.
If you go around the book market, you will find that many of them do high school and junior high school culture.
What is the most important thing in the book industry?
Man is the most important.
I am quite proud of this.
When we founded several hundred talents a month ago, we would dare to earn thousands of dollars in order to get a good talent.
From specialist students to undergraduates and postgraduates, "woodlouse" and "returnees" constitute a reasonable talent structure.
Frankly speaking, most of our employees are just a little higher than the market average at the beginning, and now the talents we are introducing are the biggest ones in the industry.
It is on the basis of talents and popularity that since 1996, the business has increased in geometric progression since 2002, and the sales volume in 2002 has exceeded 20 million, and in 2003 it reaches 40 million.
