How To Choose Entrepreneurship: Opportunity Comes From Interest.
Perfect combination of hobbies and work to achieve a career.
As a sports TV host, Richard Mantano is hard to find time to spend time with his wife, Nicole and three young children.
"You are always working."
He said, "basketball season, baseball season and rugby season."
But since they became franchisees of LABoxing in July 2007, it has become a boxing season for the 35 year old.
The couple were once members of LABoxing's first store. They liked boxing, taekwondo and other mixed martial arts courses there.
So when they found that the company was implementing franchising business, they seized the opportunity to open a store in Carlsbad, California.
"The reason is very simple. It just wants to work there."
Richard said.
When they benefit from the course, they find other benefits of doing business, such as continuous support from the authorized person, ranging from finding suitable stores to finding professional coaches.
With the help of LABoxing, they opened second stores in St. Marcks (SanMarcos) last November and hoped to open third more soon.
Their existing two stores earn about $30 thousand a month.
It is interesting to engage in franchise business, and there are many related works.
Mantano and his wife have to do everything personally, including bookkeeping and vending machines.
"You are the boss," Richard said. "But at the same time, because this is a small business, you have to take charge of all the specific matters, from cleaning the bathroom to dealing with the chamber of Commerce."
Caring for pets can also create entrepreneurial opportunities.
After 10 years of judicial work, Kelly Stroud (KellyStrowd) felt that he was going to collapse.
After reading an article on pet care in magazines, her curiosity was aroused.
As an animal lover with 5 hunting dogs, Stroud considered it a great idea to be a pet pet business.
"At the very beginning, I could hardly believe that I could take it as a full-time job."
She said.
In fact, she did not take this as a full-time job at the beginning.
Stroud set up his Fetch pet care chain store in ChapelHill, North Carolina, USA in October 2006, and kept his job at the same time.
She worked with 6 other pet nannies during the evenings and weekends to provide services such as dog walking, pet care and cleaning.
But when her team members increased to 48, she opened two new stores, gave up judicial work, and devoted herself to franchise business in May last year.
Stroud, now 35, has a network of people with veterinarians, groom and trainers, so that he has more time to sell.
She constantly expanded her staff and employed her skills as a detective to hire people who trusted customers.
Despite her no longer doing judicial business, Stroud remained as busy as ever, with sales of $225 thousand in 2008.
She really grasped a professional opportunity and integrated her hobby and work perfectly. Xu Qiyun, editor in charge of responsibilities:
