Exhibition brief:

The Russian Federation light industry textile and equipment exhibition was first held in 1993. It was held by Textilexpo on behalf of the Russian Ministry of economic development and trade. It is the largest international trade exhibition in Russia and CIS countries. It is the largest professional textile exhibition in Eastern Europe.

Over the past five years, the exhibition has developed into an important international trade fair and an international exchange platform for new technologies in the textile industry.

Since the founding of the exhibition, the proportion of exhibitors from outside Russia has increased rapidly from 7% to 25%. About 10% of the audience is from other countries and regions outside Russia, while the local professional audience is the representative of the textile industry in all parts of Russia.

The exhibition is held in the largest exhibition hall in Russia, 10 kilometers away from the center of Moscow.

The total exhibition area exceeds 46000 square meters, and the twenty-fifth exhibition held in September 2005 was attended by 2506 enterprises from 37 countries and regions, including Belarus, China, Korea, Italy, France, Germany, Poland and Czech. There were more than 70000 spectators in the trade, and the total turnover exceeded 1 billion 200 million US dollars.

Russia is a big industrial country in the world, heavy industry is developed, but light industrial machinery and electrical products are weak in production capacity, while Chinese enterprises have obvious advantages in light industrial products production. Developing Sino Russian economic and trade cooperation can expand our export and provide more business opportunities for enterprises.
