Taiwan Textile And Clothing Research And Development Trade Building Started In Fujian Stone Lions

The Taiwan textile and clothing research and development trade building, which was invested by Taiwan businessmen for 29 million US dollars, was officially launched on the 18 day at Shishi, a hometown of overseas Chinese. This also marks a higher stage of cooperation between the two sides.

"Taiwan textile and clothing research and development trade building is invested by Taiwanese businessmen, such as Chen Tiehan, President of the Taiwan Knitting Industry Association, and is an important platform for strengthening cross-strait industry docking."

Yang Liying, director of the Foreign Affairs Bureau of Shishi overseas Chinese Taiwan Affairs Bureau, said.

"After the completion of the project, we will fully introduce overseas textile and garment R & D, trade, training and other related industries, carry out garment design, information technology exchange, personnel training, innovative research and development, international trade and other businesses, thus further strengthening the exchanges and cooperation between Fujian and Taiwan's textile and garment industry."

Chen Tiehan, President of the Taiwan Knitting Industry Association, said that after experiencing the cooperation mode of initial processing and OEM, the cooperation between the two sides of the textile industry should be developed at a higher level.

After the completion of the Taiwan textile and clothing research and development trade building, a group of Taiwan textile and garment marketing enterprises and R & D institutions will be introduced immediately.

Taiwan textile and clothing R & D trade building, with a total construction area of 60 thousand square meters, consists of a 24 storey 5A intelligent commercial office building and a 19 storey residential supporting building.

On the same day, the eleventh cross strait textile and Garment Fair and 2008 casual wear Expo opened in Fujian stone lions.
