Textile Industry Cluster Pilot Area To Add New Army

In June 26th, the China Textile Industry Association issued the decision to determine the pilot area of the industrial cluster of textile characteristics cities and towns in Yuexi County of Anhui province (hereinafter referred to as "decision").

The decision points out that since the reform and opening up, China's textile industrial cluster has been formed and developed, and has become an important part of China's textile industry and occupies an extremely important position.

The China Textile Industry Association has carried out the spirit of the Central Committee of the CPC regarding the establishment and implementation of Scientific Outlook on Development and adheres to the road of new industrialization. In order to promote the improvement of the industry level and the development of local economy, the China Textile Industry Association has established pilot relations with several textile industrial cluster areas and carried out cluster construction.

Through joint efforts, investment development, technological progress, structural adjustment, market development, informatization and corporate social responsibility construction in pilot areas have been promoted, and the impact of regional brands has been expanded, and some achievements have been achieved.

Recently, there are a number of prominent industrial cities (counties, districts) and towns. Some of them are clustered areas formed in recent years. They are actively required to participate in the pilot work of textile industrial clusters. At the same time, there are also areas where clothing trade is the key area.

After investigation and understanding, the association decided to regard these areas as the pilot areas of textile industrial clusters and grant corresponding titles.

Together with these regions, China Textile Industry Association will resolutely implement Scientific Outlook on Development and conscientiously follow the spirit of the pilot agreement, do a good job in the pilot work, and promote regional economic development and the progress of the textile industry.
