From August 1st this year, the state will raise the export tax rebate rate of some textiles and garments. The new policy will play a strong role in promoting the development of garment industry in Sun Cun town, Anhui's first garment town.

According to the national tax department, the sales revenue of textile and clothing industry in Sun Village will reach 1 billion yuan this year, and the tax revenue will reach 25 million yuan, up 42.9% and 71.2% respectively over the previous year.

This year, influenced by many factors, such as rising prices of raw materials and labor, weakening of overseas market demand, adjustment of export tax rebate policy and tightening of money, the export profitability of textile and garment enterprises in Sun Village has declined, and some enterprises have sharply reduced orders, and the growth rate of textile and garment industry has slowed down.

The town has 10 garment processing and self export enterprises, and more than 120 export oriented enterprises. In this 1-7 month, the clothing industry realized sales income of 430 million yuan and added value added tax to 11 million 60 thousand yuan.

The export tax rebate rate has increased the export profit margins of the garment industry, providing strong support for the development of Sun Village textile and garment industry.

At the same time, some small textile and garment enterprises along the coast have closed because of the lack of risk resistance. The pfer of clothing orders to the mainland production base has brought new opportunities for the development of textile and garment industry in Sun Village.
