Nanchong'S Silk Exports To Europe Are Growing Significantly.

Nanchong's silk products are directly exported to 39 countries and regions, and silk products are mainly exported to India, Pakistan and the European market.

According to customs statistics, Europe has become the largest market for silk goods exports in Nanchong. In the first 3 months of this year, the total volume of silk products exported to Europe by Nanchong amounted to US $4 million 610 thousand.

In the first quarter of this year, Nanchong's total exports of silk amounted to US $21 million 210 thousand, an increase of 26% over the same period, including direct exports of US $7 million 140 thousand, an increase of 83% over the same period last year, accounting for 34% of total exports.

Exports to Asia amounted to US $1 million 520 thousand, a year-on-year decrease of 19%, and exports to Europe were US $4 million 610 thousand, an increase of 284% over the same period last year. Exports to these two main markets accounted for 21.3% and 64.5% respectively.

Silk products exported 1 million 710 thousand US dollars, an increase of 54% over the same period last year.
