The Quality Of Children'S Clothing Has Attracted Much Attention.

The quality supervision and inspection results of children's clothing in the second quarter of 2008 released by the Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau today show that the sampling rate of children's clothing product quality in our province is 62.5%.

In this survey, 16 batches of products produced by 15 enterprises were tested and 10 batches were qualified.

The results of spot checks showed that with the implementation of our province's mandatory national standards for textile products, the problem of decomposing aromatic ammonia dyes and over formaldehyde content in the products was basically controlled.

Of the 16 batches of products tested, there were 4 batches of washable size change rate, and 2 batches of products failed to meet the pH value, and 2 batches of products failed to qualify for appearance and product identification.

Experts suggest that children's skin is delicate and sensitive, so the fabric of children's clothing has certain particularity. The requirements for comfort, softness, lightness, washability and tear resistance are all higher than that of adult clothing. When choosing children's clothing, we must first check the labels on clothing.

The first is whether there are trademarks or factory names in the products.

The two is whether the product is marked with clothing logo.

The three is whether there is any ingredient identification on the product. It mainly refers to the identification of the fabric and material of the garment, and the percentage of all fiber should be clear and correct.

The composition and content of the filler should also be indicated in the garment with filler.

The four is whether there are any graphic symbols and instructions on the products and understand the methods of washing and maintenance.

The five is whether the product has the product qualification certificate, the product execution standard number, the product quality grade and the safety category and so on.

The above five items are indispensable.

It is suggested that consumers should not purchase any unsold factory sites, no labels or illegal children's clothing sold on the market. These children's clothes are usually of poor raw materials, and the dyestuffs used may contain prohibited azo dyes.
