The Sixth Pakistan Asia Textile Exhibition Was Settled In Karachi.

The sixth Pakistan Asian Textile Exhibition (Textile Asia2009) will be held from April 5th to 8 at the Karachi Expo Center, Pakistan.

Textile Asia, Asia's international textile exhibition, is one of the most influential textile machinery exhibitions in Asia and the world. It has been held for 5 consecutive years.

At the fifth Pakistan Asian Textile Exhibition (Textile Asia2008), the sales volume of the exhibitors after negotiations reached US $27 million, and the sixth 29% booth has been booked by the fifth Textile Asia exhibitors on the last day of the 2008 exhibition.

From Pakistan, China, India, Singapore, Korea, Japan, Turkey, Czech, Sweden, Germany, Italy, Spain, the United States, Canada, Australia, Holland, Iran, Commonwealth and other countries and regions, 132 enterprises participated in the exhibition. 500 well-known brands of international textile and garment industry were exhibited at the conference, with an exhibition area of 12000 square meters. In 4 days, 26000 people visited the fifth Pakistan Asian textile exhibition.

The textile industry is the largest industry in Pakistan, but at present, the Pakistan textile industry lacks advanced technology and equipment, and the textile machinery manufacturing industry is lagging behind. Every year, a large amount of foreign exchange is imported into textile machinery.

2001-2007 years in June, China's textile machinery exports to Pakistan increased steadily year by year, the number of exports increased from 2806538 in 2001 to 4429529 in 2006, and reached a peak in 2006, nearly six times in nearly six years.
