Oman'S Hospitality Etiquette

To Oman's guests, coffee is an essential drink for their guests. Oman's coffee is thick and strong. If the guest doesn't want to drink another cup, shake it up, or the host will pour another cup for you.

The Oman people in the city are very generous. They will entertain guests with the best food, such as roast lamb, fried chicken, fried fish, fried steak, etc.

The most famous dish is the roast camel lamb, which is used to entertain the most distinguished guests. A lamb is put into the inside of the camel's belly, and a chicken is added into the belly of the lamb. Then the chicken viscera is filled with a dove and baked with a variety of spices and condiments.

In the mountains and desert areas, there are visitors, whether they do not know or not, the host will warm hospitality, kill the sheep in front of the guests, give the sheep brain to the guests, and then taste the roast mutton with blood.

On the second day, guests served milk tea and refreshments in the early morning, then sent the guests on the road.

Guests can send a little gift as a souvenir, but they must not leave money. Their owners will be angry and think they are humiliating.
