Implementation Measures For Paid Annual Leave In Organs And Institutions
The Ministry of personnel recently promulgated and implemented in February 15, 2008, "the implementation of paid annual leave for staff and workers in organs and institutions" stipulates that all staff members of organs and institutions can enjoy paid annual leave with their working life for more than 1 years, and the family holiday, marriage and funeral leave and maternity leave holidays prescribed by the state are not included in the annual leave.
The regulations stipulate that the staff will enjoy the corresponding number of days off from next month after they have worked for 1 years, 10 years or 20 years.
The staff can arrange 1 years' annual arrangements for their annual leave because of undertaking field geological exploration, field surveying and mapping, ocean scientific investigation, polar scientific investigation and other special tasks.
The method also stipulates that workers who should enjoy the winter and summer vacation according to the law should be arranged for their vacations due to the need for winter and summer vacations. If the number of days in which the work is needed for the winter and summer vacation is less than the annual vacation days, the unit should arrange to make up the number of annual leave days.
The law also stipulates that organs and institutions do not arrange annual leave for staff members and do not pay annual leave salaries according to the provisions of these measures. The personnel administration department of the local people's governments at or above the county level shall order them to make corrections within a prescribed time limit.
In addition to ordering the unit to pay the annual leave pay, the unit shall also pay the staff member the compensation according to the amount of annual leave paid.
