Affordable Housing, High And Medium Talents In Jiangsu And Zhejiang
High housing prices, rising cost of living, and strong working pressure brought by clouds are all the reasons for the declining popularity of the once spectacular Shanghai.
At the end of the year, another round of job hopping is about to hit. Reporters have heard that many middle and senior talents in Shanghai are eager to jump to different places. The headhunters from Jiangsu and Zhejiang also lose no time to throw olive branches.
A senior customer manager in Zhejiang told reporters recently that he came to Shanghai to look for the position of vice president of the Executive Office of a large automobile group company: "the top 500 is the best, if it is the right person, the annual salary of 12 million is not a problem!"
Foreign executives leave
High housing prices, rising cost of living, and strong working pressure brought by clouds are all the reasons for the declining popularity of the once spectacular Shanghai.
A director of human resources at a Taiwanese funded enterprise in Kunshan, Jiangsu, told reporters that she had worked as a HR manager in the top 500 enterprises in Shanghai for about five or six years, and that her career was hit by the ceiling.
"The foreign executives of similar age are in the same position, but for me, they can't see the core of power."
Since then, the Taiwan business has offered her an invitation to Kunshan's future development and favorable conditions given by the enterprises, and has made a decision to leave Shanghai on the balance.
The gradual loss of Shanghai's dominance comes partly from the fact that some people choose to leave Shanghai because of the high cost of living.
Half of the other cities from the Yangtze River Delta are actively improving their investment environment, government efficiency and the judicial system, so as to create their own core competitiveness.
Toby, a customer relationship manager at a well-known foreign bank in Shanghai, said in an interview that for the traditional Chinese, household registration and housing are the key to settling down, and these are the weaknesses of Shanghai.
After 1 years of working, Toby returned to Qingdao as a regional manager of a listed company in Taiwan. He told reporters: "I am happy to accept the state of my life now."
Although Shanghai has formulated corresponding provisions for the introduction of hi-tech and scarce talents, it has provided the spouses and children with the accompanying pfer.
But there are very few people who actually declare their approval every year. Most people still sigh outside the siege.
The residence permit system, which was introduced in 2004, has never been able to replace the household registration system. The cumbersome material preparation and the four issues that are currently applicable to the Shanghai area can not completely solve the worries of "floating in Shanghai".
In fact, since 2005, the flow of job seekers, especially high-end talents, has begun to differentiate from the traditional "northward Canton", and the second tier cities in the Yangtze River Delta have suddenly risen.
A large number of preferential policies, salaries, benefits and supporting facilities are important chips for attracting talents. They attack in a high-profile manner, and they come to Shanghai to collect talents.
In December 3, 2007, the Zhejiang Provincial Personnel Office organized 150 key enterprises and institutions in the province and some party and government organs to set up a team to recruit talents in Shanghai.
Corner of Jiangsu and Zhejiang
The large number of talents leaving Jiangsu and Zhejiang also reflects that the status of Shanghai's old manufacturing center is being replaced by neighboring provinces.
Constrained by scarce resources, land prices and factory rents in Shanghai continue to rise and labor costs continue to rise, prompting manufacturers to migrate to neighboring cities.
By the time of 2010 in World Expo, labor intensive enterprises on both sides of the Huangpu River should be moved out according to plan.
So with manufacturing as the leader, Shanghai's proximity to the city is gaining momentum.
IBM, HP, Dell, EMC and other industrial tycoons also changed from original headquarters centralized dispatched personnel to technical financial support from all localities to the establishment of second tier city offices, each of which is a battalion, so as to reduce operating costs and improve work efficiency.
Jiangsu and Zhejiang are becoming a new base for international manufacturing industry.
Professor Liu Zhibiao, executive director of the Yangtze River Delta economic and social development research center, said Professor Liu Zhibiao.
Shanghai is no longer a big family in the Yangtze River Delta, and Suzhou and Hangzhou are already catching up with the trend: "paradise Silicon Valley, the capital of Electronics" has become a foreign business card created by Hangzhou successfully; Suzhou attracts foreign direct investment (FDI), which is equal to Shanghai; in 2008, GDP expected to reach 570 billion yuan; the 500 strong enterprises set up more than 130 factories in Taihu Pearl Pearl River Wuxi, and GE, Siemens, Sony and other famous enterprises have settled in; Kunshan attracts foreign investment to 2 billion yuan each year, and more than 920 square kilometers of land have gathered 1 / 10 of the land, more than 1500 Taiwan funded enterprises, and electronics, rubber and other industries have dominated.
In order to attract talents to enter, these cities have also offered many preferential policies and conditions. Especially for top management with over 10 years' qualifications, Jiangsu and Zhejiang enterprises, who are thirsty for talent, are willing to spare money. Apart from the visible high salaries, there are not enough benefits, houses, cars, paid holidays and domestic and overseas tourism.
