If the international application is submitted in accordance with the administrative regulations, the total amount required to pay according to 3 and 4 shall be:

1, if PCT-SAFE software is used to prepare the request (paper as a legal document), the cost of 100 Swiss francs can be reduced if the necessary conditions are met.

2. If the international application is submitted electronically, the international application fee will be reduced. (at present, the Intellectual Property Office of China does not accept the electronic application as an admissibility Bureau).

A. if an electronic application is submitted to the international application and satisfies the requirements of the seventh part of the administrative regulations and appendix F, the cost of 200 Swiss francs can be reduced by the use of character code format submitted by electronic submissions, claims and summaries.

B. in the form of character code, the cost of 300 Swiss francs can be reduced if the specifications, claims and summaries submitted in electronic form are used.

3, if all applicants for the international application are natural persons, and all nationals who live in countries with a per capita national income of less than $3000 (according to the figures of the national income per capita used by the United Nations to determine the scale of contributions payable in 1995, 1996 and 1997), all the fees payable (in applicable cases have been reduced in accordance with the above circumstances) have been reduced by 75%.
