Shoes Enterprises Need Structural Adjustment &Nbsp Urgently; Reduce Inferior GDP Growth

After the Spring Festival, labor shortage has been widespread in Dongguan, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and other places in the Pearl River Delta.

According to the latest survey, more than 99% of the shoemaking enterprises in Dongguan are short of work.

Despite the fact that people are seeing signs of economic recovery behind this phenomenon, labor shortage has made many PRD shoe enterprises unable to function properly. They are afraid to pick up orders that they can reach, which seriously hampers the steady development of enterprises in the economic recovery.

Affected by the financial crisis, a large number of migrant workers have become the burden of the Pearl River Delta shoe enterprises eager to get rid of them. Therefore, they have become the most direct victims of enterprise cost saving, but the economic growth is expected to cause panic in many PRD enterprises.

In the 2009 years of the year, the Pearl River Delta has seen a new round of labor shortage since August last year: the economy is getting warmer. Many shoe companies have received a large number of orders, but the workers who can be dismissed from home can not find them, and even many employees who have returned home for the Spring Festival have not returned.

And the increase in job opportunities has also made migrant workers "picky" and not easy to apply for. Many shoe companies have taken many orders but can not start work. Some enterprises have to reluctantly push off some orders sent to home.

Due to the serious shortage of workers, a shoe manufacturer in Shenzhen said that enterprises have relaxed their employment standards, and migrant workers less than 45 years old can also work.

"Recruitment" is now the most difficult thing for bosses to face.

Industrial pfer aggravate labor shortage

"It is undeniable that the economic super expectation has stabilized and picked up, resulting in the labor shortage of the footwear enterprises in the Pearl River Delta. However, we should also see that the promotion of industrial pfer and the policy of national regional revitalization has gradually reduced the economic development level of the inland areas and the Pearl River Delta, and the footwear industry in Chongqing, Jiangxi and Wuhan has sprang up, and the employment benefits are higher than the Pearl River Delta. After the project is completed, it will become the largest footwear manufacturing base in Jiangxi province. It will achieve an annual output of 12 million pairs of sports shoes and an annual export volume of 70 million US dollars. At present, Baoji International's production line in Guangdong and other places has been shut down.

At the same time, the production line of Huajian group, the largest female shoe manufacturer in China, has produced 8 million pairs of production lines in Ganzhou, Jiangxi, and has achieved mass production, basically balancing its capacity in Dongguan.

Originally, many shoe factories supporting the processing of Brazil's shoe giant, Dongguan, were also moved to Chongqing Bishan.

At present, Bishan has the production scale of about 60000000 pairs of leather shoes per year, with more than 1300 shoe making enterprises, with an output value of 4 billion 570 million yuan and nearly 40 brands.

The above-mentioned personages indicated that many inland areas have attracted the Pearl River Delta footwear enterprises to pfer to the region with various preferential policies, and have also taken a lot of labor resources in the Pearl River Delta. However, in terms of labor treatment, the PRD lacks competitiveness as compared with the inland areas that undertake industrial pfer.

A shoe factory in Wuhan published a recruitment advertisement in Dongguan Houjie labor market: age 18 to 35 years old, sewing workers 1800 yuan to 2500 yuan per month, general worker 1500 yuan / month, bags and board and lodging.

The manager of the company, Zhou manager, said that such conditions were almost the same as that of Dongguan. 20 of the 200 employees of the company were recruited from Dongguan last year, and now their work is very stable.

"Compared with the enterprises in Dongguan, the work time on our side is shorter, and all the workers in Hubei are recruited.

Reporters learned that at present, the minimum monthly basic wage level in Shenzhen is 900 yuan, Guangzhou is 860 yuan, and Dongguan is 770 yuan.

However, in the provinces such as Hubei and Hunan that undertake more coastal industrial pfer, the current treatment is much closer to the Pearl River Delta. Many Dongguan enterprises have to go to Yunnan, Guizhou and northwest provinces to recruit workers.

Adjusting structure to realize economic pformation

Shen Shuguang, director of the social security research center of Zhongshan University, believes that the pformation and upgrading of the Pearl River delta industry is imperative. In the case of the wage level of the mainland and the Pearl River Delta, the enterprises must take the road of independent innovation and produce high value-added products, and they can no longer take the old road of earning profits through the cheap labor force.

Reporters noted that the pformation of the footwear industry in PRD also resulted in the pfer of employment demand to highly skilled personnel, and the supply of ordinary labor resources could not correspond to it, resulting in structural labor shortage.

"With the rise of production costs in the PRD, shoe manufacturers are still at low end manufacturing, which is bound to be uncompetitive."

The industry believes that if we want to maintain the advantages and get rid of the shortage of labor, the PRD footwear enterprises should comply with the law of industrial pfer, identify the direction of industrial upgrading, adjust the industrial structure, upgrade the industrial level, and pform from labor-intensive to technological pformation. This dislocation development can enable enterprises to truly achieve economic pformation.

In view of the increasingly serious shortage of labor, before the Spring Festival this year, Dongguan, Zhongshan and other cities raised the minimum wage standard to keep people's voice very high.

The Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of human resources and social security has recently made clear that Shenzhen will raise the minimum wage this year.
