Provisions On Family Protection For Minors

    《未成年人保護法》對未成年人的家庭保護作了如下規(guī)定：

Eighth parents or other guardians shall perform their duties of guardianship and support for minors according to law, and shall not abuse or abandon minors; they shall not discriminate against minors or minors with disabilities; they shall not be allowed to drown babies or abandon babies.

Ninth parents or other guardians should respect the rights of minors to receive education, and enable them to receive compulsory education in accordance with the regulations and not to drop out schools for compulsory education.

Tenth parents or other guardians should educate their minors in a healthy way of thinking, conduct and proper methods, guide minors to engage in activities conducive to physical and mental health, and prevent and prevent minors from smoking, drinking, wandering, gambling, drug taking and prostitution.

Eleventh parents or other guardians may not allow or force minors to marry, and they may not enter into marriage contracts for minors.

If twelfth parents or other guardians fail to perform their guardianship duties or infringe upon the lawful rights and interests of the minors being guardianship, they shall be liable according to law.

    父母或者其他監(jiān)護人有前款所列行為，經(jīng)教育不改的，人民法院可以根據(jù)有關(guān)人員或者有關(guān)單位的申請，撤銷其監(jiān)護人的資格；依照民法通則第十六條的規(guī)定，另行確定監(jiān)護人。
