China Fashion Week Is Not Very International!

How many international fashion week are there in China? I'm afraid there is not much internationalization except for the word "international" on the name. Compared to the "four Fashion Week", the gap between the brand and the designer is not enough for the China fashion week. In the annual China International Fashion Week's winning list, we didn't see the brands of MADS, Ochirly, Marisfrog in the shopping malls, but saw the brand names that only people in the industry knew. Besides, most of the designers who came to the exhibition were new faces. Designers such as Xie Feng, Ji Wen Bo, Ma Ke and so on walked past the international stage. Looking back at Paris fashion week, we saw Dior, Givenchy, Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel and other top international luxury brands. It is because the exhibitors' brands and designers themselves do not have influence, so we can only see a fashion show released by the latest fashions, without feeling the guiding elements of fashion.
The road is long and its future is far away.
Though China International Fashion Week is not very international, it has always been chasing foreign fashion trends in China's fashion circles. Sometimes imitation is also a kind of learning. When we saw the Cocoon and DGVI show, it was easy to smell Louis Weedon, but we still felt fresh elements and personal attitude towards fashion. Therefore, we still have great expectations for China International Fashion week. However, in the course of development, we should see clearly our weaknesses, and the low competitiveness of local brands is the biggest weakness of China fashion week. Therefore, we need to increase the competitiveness of local brands to fill this weakness. In the 2008 China International Fashion Week, we found that Louis Weedon, Prada and other international first-line brands have been launched. Even Adidas, who is co operating with the Olympic Games, is also absent from fashion week. Therefore, in the future China Fashion Week, we are more willing to see the international brands such as Givenchy and Chanel, so that we can achieve an opportunity to learn and communicate.
