In The First 2 Months, The Export Garments In Liaoning Increased By 4.1% During The Same Period.

According to customs statistics, in the first 2 months of this year, Liaoning exported garments and accessories ($460 million), an increase of 4.1% over the same period last year.

Since 2010, the export of textile and clothing in Liaoning has been declining. In January, exports fell somewhat, and exports were 265 million US dollars, down 15.5% compared to the same period last year, down 19.2%.

In February, exports amounted to $195 million in the same month, an increase of 52.1% over the same period, a decrease of 26.5% over the same period.

In the first 2 months of this year, Liaoning exported textiles and garments by processing trade $216 million, down 6.6% from the same period last year, accounting for 47% of the total export volume of textile and clothing in Liaoning in the same period. The export of textiles and clothing in general trade mode was 211 million US dollars, an increase of 15.7%, accounting for 45.9%.

Foreign investment enterprises export textile and apparel 230 million US dollars, down 7.4%, accounting for 50%; private enterprises exported 166 million US dollars, an increase of 29.4%, accounting for 36.1%; during the same period, state-owned enterprises exported 48 million US dollars, an increase of 12.1%, accounting for 10.4%.

Exports to Japan amounted to 171 million US dollars, down 3.4%; exports to the EU were US $117 million, an increase of 8.2%; exports to Korea amounted to US $73 million, down by 0.9%; exports to the United States were US $40 million, an increase of 2.5%; the total exports to the above 4 markets accounted for 87.2% of Liaoning's textile and apparel exports in the same period.

In addition, exports to ASEAN amounted to 6 million 510 thousand US dollars, a huge increase of 3.6 times.
