4 New Silk Industry Standards Will Be Implemented In April 2010.
From the Secretariat of the National Silk Standardization Technical Committee, recently, the Ministry of industry and information technology approved 77 textile industry standards in accordance with the Announcement No. sixty-third of engineering [2009], of which four were silk industry standards.
They are the test method of silk content, the chemical method for determination of mulberry silk content in mulberry / tussah products, coarse specification raw silk and silkworm double silk fabric.
It is understood that these new standards will be implemented in April 1, 2010.
