The exhibition hall uses a large number of environment-friendly natural cork to build facade curtain walls and exhibition wall facades. The exhibition area is divided into four major themes, including catering area, wine tasting area and so on. Through portals, colonnade, electronic screens and theme pavilions, the Portuguese history, culture, economy and national life are displayed, showing the link between Portugal and China in the past five centuries and its impact on modern Portugal.

The pavilion has an outer wall built of cork. Cork is a Portuguese material, not only environmentally friendly but also recyclable.

Display content

This innovative environmental paradigm can promote Portuguese image in World Expo. Lisbon's Commercial Plaza, as a Portuguese people's favorite city space, was selected to be introduced in World Expo. In addition, the pavilion will not only demonstrate the concept of sustainable development of modern urban buildings, but also emphasize the important role of this concept in Portugal's economic and environmental policies.

The four exhibition areas have their own characteristics.

"First time" exhibition exhibition "Portugal - China's five hundred year meeting". The "second moments" Pavilion plays a short film Portugal, a square facing the world. The "third moment" exhibition area shows Portugal's efforts in sustainable development with the content of "Portugal - an energy world". The "fourth moments" exhibition area has "today Portugal" square, the square has coffee area, wine tasting area, gift shop and so on.
