Industrial Textiles Will Become A New Growth Point Of Textile Industry.

Although there is still a gap between China's industrial textiles and the international advanced level, the development potential of industrial textiles has become a new growth point in China's textile industry.

According to the information from the textile industry association, the "11th Five-Year plan", the textile industry adjustment and revitalization plan and the "12th Five-Year" plan are being formulated to raise the proportion of industrial textiles in three major textiles, such as home textiles, while improving their technological content and product quality.

According to the introduction, since 2005, China's industrial textiles have continuously promoted structural adjustment and industrial upgrading, contributing to speeding up the pformation from a big textile country to a strong textile country.

Over the past 5 years, China's industrial textiles have grown at an average annual rate of 18.6%.

In 2009, the total output of China's industrial textiles reached 7 million 232 thousand tons, an increase of 19.2% over the same period last year, maintaining a good momentum of development, and gradually becoming a new modern industry with two industries, namely, cross textile and new materials, with broad prospects for development.
