Guangdong Baiyun University

Guangdong Baiyun University is a full-time undergraduate institution established by the Ministry of education.

The college was founded by Mr. Xie Ketao in 1989.

After 20 years of development, we have formed a school running pattern based on industry, industry, economy, management, literature and law.

Guangdong Baiyun University is established by the Ministry of education and is a full-time undergraduate teaching institution.

The Institute was founded by Mr. Xie Ke Tao school location in 1989.

The Institute now has 9 departments: Department of electrical and mechanical engineering, Department of electronic information engineering, Department of architectural engineering, Department of computer science, management department, accounting department, Department of economics, applied foreign language department, art design department and so on.

There are 21 undergraduate majors and 30 professional specialties.

There are 750 teaching staff, including 575 full-time teachers, 32% senior professional and technical teachers, including associate professors and associate professors, 48.52% with doctorate and master degree, and 80% with double qualification teachers.

The Institute has an international cooperative education center. The existing international cooperation higher education projects include the Sino British cooperation "3+1", the Sino Korean cooperation "1+4", the Sino Australian cooperation "1+3" and so on.

The college is located in the scenic area of Guangzhou Baiyun District, with its convenient pportation and elegant environment.

Professional setup

Guangdong Baiyun University consists of Applied Foreign Languages Department, art design department, computer department, management department, Department of economics, Department of electrical and mechanical engineering, Department of electronic information engineering, accounting department, architectural engineering department and foundation department.

Department of Applied Foreign Languages

The existing undergraduate, specialist and training three levels of education, currently offering business English (undergraduate), business English (College scenery (6) specialist), secretarial, tourism English three specialties, 900 students.

There are 5 teaching and research sections (Business English, foreign secretarial, tourism English, foreign language training center, public English, etc.).

Department of art design

It is a department established by the college and has been appraised as an advanced group for many years.

At present, there are nine specialties in the field of interior design, construction and Design Technology (including two directions of architectural design, landscape design, fashion design, leather shoes design, advertising design and production, product design, film and television media, two directions of film and television advertising, film and television animation).

Department of Computer Science

The Department of computer science was established in 1999. It now offers undergraduate computer science and technology specialties (including four aspects of software engineering, network engineering, intelligent control, game development and direction), and has 3 specialties, including computer network technology, software technology and computer multimedia technology.

Department of management

It is an early teaching unit of the college.

Now there are two four year undergraduate majors in business administration and marketing. There are eight specialties in three years, such as hotel management, real estate management and valuation, property management, logistics management, e-commerce, marketing and planning, human resources management, business management and so on.

Department of Economics

Now there are five specialties: accounting, international economy and trade, financial insurance, investment management and engineering cost.

The accounting profession is divided into three major directions, accounting computerization, foreign related accounting and financial management.

Department of mechanical and electrical engineering

Founded in March 1999, under the correct leadership of the board of Trustees of the college, the Department of electrical and mechanical engineering has been carrying out the school running concept of market oriented, highly skilled talents dedicated to training the needs of the state and society. It has delivered a batch of talents with solid theoretical knowledge and practical ability to meet the needs of the job market.

Department of Electronic Information Engineering

Since its establishment in 1999, it has gone through 10 glorious years.

A large number of applied talents who know electronic technology have been sent to the society.

There are three undergraduate specialties in electronic information engineering, communication engineering and automation, three specialties of electronic information engineering technology, communication network and equipment, and electrical automation technology.

Accounting department

The accounting department has two specialties: Accounting and financial management.

In 1999, the accounting specialty was established. In 2005, 3, the Ministry of Education approved the establishment of accounting undergraduate course.

The foundation college scenery (7) was established in August 2005, and now there are two teaching and research departments of university mathematics and College Chinese.

Guangdong provincial research center and Guangdong Academy of Social Sciences competitiveness evaluation research center were rated as "the 20 top competitiveness of Guangdong private universities in 2003."

The national key employment training unit and the national comprehensive vocational training base

In 2002, the Ministry of education, the Ministry of labor and social security and the State Economic and Trade Commission jointly awarded the "national advanced vocational education unit".

On behalf of the national non-governmental colleges and universities in 2003, they attended the Twelfth National Conference on Party building in Colleges and universities.

The college students won the first prize in the National Undergraduate Mathematical Modeling Contest for three consecutive years.

The college is jointly run by the British University of Bradford and Canada's St. Li College, and students can also read both Chinese and foreign diplomas.
