Domestic Footwear Industry Starts MIT Smile Logo
On July 12th, in order to promote Taiwan's high quality shoemaking products and the "Taiwan product MIT smile badge", sponsored by the Ministry of economic affairs, the 2010 World Trade autumn winter shoes exhibition Taiwan products MIT smile logo promotion exhibition, jointly sponsored by the Industrial Research Institute, textile institute, Textile Development Association, shoe technology center, Taiwan Footwear Association, Taipei Footwear Association and Tainan Leather Association, was launched in Taipei World Trade Museum from 7 to 10. Since the end of last year, the domestic footwear industry has officially launched the MIT smile badge, which has broken through millions of pieces in less than a year, and is about to move towards 2 million new milestones.
Hong Huisong, deputy head of the people's livelihood Chemical Industry Bureau of the industry bureau, said that as of July 10th, the domestic footwear industry has verified the whole process through MIT, and 57 manufacturers have completed the contract. The number of applications for MIT smiles is 1776700 at an alarming rate.
Hong Huisong revealed that after the government signed ECFA, Taiwan made fine shoes ready to attack the mainland market, and will set up MIT hall in Nanjing's large Mall to provide domestic MIT products stationed.
To this end, the shoe technology center is leading the investment promotion, the establishment of Taiwan quality footwear development alliance (S+ alliance), and copy the successful mode of Taiwan bicycle industry A-team to the shoe industry.
Lin Junhui, director of the Textile Bureau of the industry bureau, pointed out that in order to help local traditional industries become more competitive and more internationalized, in addition to providing more platform resources and industry guidance mechanism, the Taiwan product MIT smile logo and its quality verification system have been greatly promoted.
Not only consumers can choose the "healthy, safe and trustworthy" quality products through the MIT smile badge.
For operators, MIT smile logo is also a strong guarantee for increasing brand competitiveness.
Liu Baobao, general manager of shoe technology center, said that the footwear industry in Taiwan belongs to the domestic demand industry, and there are more than 500 businesses in the north and south.
In order to avoid the impact of ECFA on traditional industries, the Ministry of industry of the Ministry of economic affairs has been committed to all-round guidance through various plans.
To promote the "Taiwan products MIT smile logo", we hope that more and more Taiwan quality shoes will come into the market in the future. We also hope that Taiwan shoe industry can move towards the new peak of industry and open up a new era.
