Xi'An: Speeding Up The Comprehensive Development Of Textile City Area

In July 13th, the Comprehensive Development Office of the Baqiao District Committee, the district government and the Textile City area made the decision on speeding up the comprehensive development of the Textile City area, and issued a matching implementation plan.

At the mobilization meeting, Nie Zhongqiu, head of the Baqiao District, issued "the wisdom of the whole region, set the wisdom of the whole region, comprehensively promote the comprehensive development of the Textile City area, build an eastern New Town Based on Xi'an's international metropolis, strive to make the comprehensive development of the Textile City area into a demonstration project of scientific development and striving for excellence, a model project for pforming the structure to the mode of pformation, a livelihood project for boosting the confidence of the workers, a creative project for integrating the system and mechanism, and a comprehensive project for the comprehensive pformation of the city.

It is understood that, after 3 years of development, the Textile City Comprehensive Development Zone has invested 8 billion 900 million yuan in total, 49 projects have been introduced, more than 30 billion yuan has been imported from the contract, 50 projects have been started, 2 billion 900 million yuan has been raised, and 3000 new jobs have been achieved.

According to the work plan, during the year, Baqiao district started the reconstruction of three factories, four factories and six factories, and completed the comprehensive management of 3 kilometers of river banks along the East Bank of the Ba River. The roads such as Ba River East Road and Binxing two road will be opened to traffic.

It is planned to strive to complete the pformation of the villages in Wuxing village, Baozi village and Yongfeng village in 2012, and strive to complete the pformation of the shanty towns such as self built villages in the core area of the textile industry; strive to complete the construction of the new textile factory in Xi'an Modern Textile Industrial Park, complete the relocation of the Xi'an Textile Group, ensure that the design scale of 300 thousand yuan pformation project is put into full operation, the Textile City area reaches the standard of the advanced development zone, the modern textile industrial park of Xi'an is basically completed, and the Baqiao riparian wetland ecological park is completed in Xi'an.

Nie Zhongqiu, director of the Comprehensive Development Office of Baqiao district mayor and Textile City area, said: Baqiao district has adopted a series of measures to ensure that the six key areas will achieve great breakthroughs, great changes and great achievements by 2011. By 2012, the embryonic form of the eastern new town has basically come into being.
