Putian Shoes Export Value Hit A Record High In The Same Period

According to statistics from Putian inspection and Quarantine Bureau, from 1 to July this year, Putian exported 41 thousand batches of footwear and 1 billion 85 million yuan worth of goods, representing an increase of 21.5% and 25% compared with the same period last year, and export value reached a record high in the same period.

The export of footwear in Putian is diversified, and its exports are distributed in 143 countries and regions around the world. The market of the United States, the European Union and Japan is about 80%. The export footwear products mainly consist of rubber shoes, sports shoes and cloth shoes.

According to the investigation and analysis, the reasons for the rapid growth of footwear exports in Putian are as follows: first, the footwear industry in Putian has the advantages of large scale, punctual delivery and stable quality, and the source of orders is relatively stable. Two, enterprises should adjust their product mix and increase their innovative technology. The additional value of export footwear is worth upgrading. Three, the prices of raw and auxiliary materials are high, labor costs are rising, and enterprises have appropriately raised the prices of products. Four, the Putian inspection and Quarantine Bureau should give full play to the technological advantages of the national footwear inspection center, and actively promote classified management, green channel, export exemption and other measures, so as to expand the export of footwear industry in the jurisdiction area.
