As of September 22nd, Turkey has destroyed 151 thousand and 484 clothing, 28 thousand and 763 meter cloth, 8170 leather products, 3350 pairs of shoes and 2000 kilograms of dyestuffs which are harmful to health.

The Ministry of Commerce of Turkey has implemented a risk response monitoring plan since the beginning of 2010, and has detected 3000 imported products every day.
Zafer said that the program strengthened cooperation between the state and private sectors, and that the testing work was completed by specialized agencies that met international standards.
In addition, he also said that in textile testing, the strength of clothing materials contained in various kinds of raw materials should be measured to label labels, so as to prevent cheating and promote fair competition among manufacturers.
