Reporter: what impressed you most about the opening ceremony of the Beijing Asian Games?

Lu: at that time, the opening ceremony was divided into two planes. There were 1 hundred and 8 hundred people who participated in the background reproduction, and 10 thousand people participated in the performance.

The competition is composed of "prestige wind and percussion instruments", such as "Chinese Wushu" and "sports posture". The traditional performance of group calisthenics is performed. There are 800 to 1200 actors in each group. Their movements and formations are uniform and magnificent.

However, what impressed me most was that we had taken the afternoon opening ceremony because of our limited power supply and lighting and related equipment's technical support capability, and solved the difficulty by setting off fireworks in the evening.

The performance of the Beijing Asian Games was very inspiring at that time, such as "prestige wind and percussion drum" and "peaceful drum", which had profound cultural details and demonstrated the history and culture of China.

This intense form of performance has influenced the large-scale square art performances in the past 20 years.

Frankly speaking, the funding for the opening ceremony of the Beijing Asian Games is rather tight. We are all actively contributing to the economy. The opening ceremony only cost 18 million yuan, and almost all the actors are on duty.

Reporter: what are the characteristics of the opening ceremony of the Guangzhou Asian Games?

Lu: in just 20 years, the comprehensive strength of our country has developed by leaps and bounds.

I am the director of the 4 ceremonies of the Guangzhou Asian Games and the Asian Paralympic Games.

The opening ceremony of the Guangzhou Asian Games was a major breakthrough in the choice of venue. It jumped out of the natural mode of holding the opening ceremony in the stadium, and created a "harmony" giant wheel of the Asian Games in Haixinsha, the new city's axis intersection in Guangzhou, highlighting the highlights of the Asian games.

On the opening ceremony of the Guangzhou Asian Games, the colorful boat with all the cultural elements of Asia went along the Pearl River and entered the main stage of Haixinsha.

Lu: from the Beijing Asian Games to the Guangzhou Asian Games in the past 20 years, we have an understanding of the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony has been successful, that is, the whole sports meet has been half successful.

To this end, the opening ceremony has become the top priority of the games.

In the meantime, millions of people and Chinese and foreign tourists enjoy the fireworks spectacle of the Pearl River boat cruise of the Asian Games, the world's top fireworks master Christof and China's top designer Liu Lin. At the same time, we also enjoy the world's largest lighting city theme landscape, which is meticulously built by Sha Xiaolan.

Reporter: in the opening ceremony of the Guangzhou Asian Games, all the cast members added up to less than ten thousand people. Why did they not adopt the "human sea tactics"?

Lu: there are both objective and subjective reasons.

Holding large events in such a stadium has its own unique rules and can not negate the strategy of "human sea".

So huge space, sometimes only one or two hundred people's performance, simply can not achieve the effect.

Zhang Yimou served as the director general of the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympic Games, and for quite a long time, it was quite inconsistent with the "human sea tactics". But through practice, he applied the "human sea tactics" to the extreme. When the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympic Games was held, the number of the actors who used more than 2000 actors reached 7, and the total number of actors in the Games was nearly twenty thousand.

Reporter: did you have close cooperation with Zhang Yimou and Chen Weiya, and how did you evaluate them?

Lu: from the opening ceremony of the Beijing Asian Games, I have participated in the opening ceremonies of all the major events held in China.

Among the co artists, Chen Weiya is gentle, modest and tolerant.

We have participated in the major events such as the opening ceremony of the 2001 Beijing World University Games, the Tenth National Games and the opening and closing ceremonies of the Beijing Olympic Games.

In cooperation with Zhang Yimou during the Olympic Games, he was very persistent in art and was very competitive.

Two people each have their own strong points.

After winning the opening and closing ceremonies of the Guangzhou Asian Games, we won an invitation from the North Olympic joint team.

However, it seems that Zhang Yimou has not come out of the "torture" of the opening and closing ceremonies of the Beijing Olympic Games and talked about the "opening ceremony". It is considered that the opening ceremony of such a major event is much more difficult and more stressful than that of the ten films.
