    Li Kaifu (December 3, 1961 -) is an information industry executive and computer science researcher.

    In 1998, Li Kaifu joined Microsoft Corp and then founded the Microsoft China Research Institute (now Microsoft Asia Research Institute).

    He joined Google (Google) in July 20, 2005 and served as vice president of global Google (Google) and President of China.

    In 2005, when Google was going to enter China, I wanted to change jobs. As a result, Microsoft was very angry and serious. It brought me and Google to court. Microsoft used tens of millions of dollars to hire top lawyers to stop me. The media also questioned my integrity.


    With all my knowledge of law and computer, I succeeded in winning the case.
