The scale of hosiery industry developed from less than 150 million pairs at the beginning of 2005 to 1 billion 300 million pairs at the end of 2010.

There are 312 entrepreneurs in the Hosiery Industry and the upstream and downstream industry chain, the number of industrial scale and the number of enterprises has increased by 6 times, and the number of employed persons is nearly 25000.

In recent years, the rapid development of the Liaoyuan Hosiery Industry has formed the intensive benefits of industrial clusters, and has stimulated the healthy development of the upstream and downstream industries. The 70% products of the raw material production enterprises, Liao Yuan de Heng and Liaohe Textile Group, are supplied to the socks industry. Nearly 100 sewing production bases are located in the surrounding villages and towns of Liaoyuan, and are radiated to the countryside through part of the auxiliary processes of the Northeast hosiery textile industrial park, releasing capacity, resettlement, increasing farmers' income and promoting the development of county economy.

At present, 5000 farmers have been resettled and 75 million yuan has been increased annually.
