Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology Teachers Undertake National 973 Project Sub Project

With the strong support of the Ministry of science and technology, the key laboratory teacher of Beijing garment material research and development of Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology has undertaken the sub project of "the basic research on the selective elimination of pollutants in water by nanomaterials and technology" in 2010, the national key basic research development project (973 project).

The topic is hosted by Professor Li Congju of Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology. The aim of the research is to design and construct new nanofiber materials with the function of identifying and selectively eliminating pollutants, and develop new principles and methods for large-scale preparation and assembly of special structural nanofiber materials, and study the selective interaction between certain structures and morphologies of nanofiber materials in water and target pollutants. After the success of the project, it will hopefully solve the problem that traditional treatment methods can not selectively remove pollutants of low concentration, high toxicity and difficult degradation for a long time due to the large coexistence of traditional organic / inorganic substances, and lay a solid foundation for the application of fiber materials in water pollution control.

This is the first time that Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology teachers have received funding from the 973 program, marking a new step in the level of scientific research and research at Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology.
