Stop Doing These 9 Things! Necessary! How To Improve Personal Efficiency

    2011/6/4 10:56:00 55

    Stop Improving Personal Efficiency

We are all familiar with the list of things we should do to improve our productivity.

    Another one can improve us.

    productivity

The way is to make a list of things that should not be done - something we should not do.

Consciously avoiding it, it automatically regulates our energy to do what we want to do.

A two pronged approach will greatly improve our performance.

If you want to raise your productivity to a new level, the following 9 habits are what you should avoid:

    One

    Strain every nerve

    To do everything.

I have mentioned the 80/20 rule many times in my article, because it is true.

I need to reiterate that not all jobs are equal, and every work has its importance.

In fact, we can know by the 80/20 rules that 20% of the work we need to do is 80% of our value.

So, clean up your to-do list and get rid of that 80% low value job.

When you have streamlined it to the minimum, concentrate your energy on those 20% parts of high value, then do the same thing, perseverance, grasp the important part, and give up those minor ones.

2 reply to every email (or reply to all calls and text messages).

I used to feel that I needed to answer all the e-mails until I found that not all mail could be answered one by one.

In fact, many of them are not, even when readers are being followed up to respond to requests for help.

It seems that all the hard work of typing, wording, and format is not really a reflection of my idea.

I've been trapped in mail all day, but I haven't sent an email to tell my opinion, in addition to increasing the number of emails sent out in the box.

So, I began to reply to priority mail selectively, although there are still many messages that need to be answered.

In fact, I now have more time to create more high-quality articles for readers, and I hope this can be brought to everyone.

    3. think you need to do everything at once.

Apart from the list of things I need to do and shouldn't do, I usually have a list of things to do later.

This is used to record only half of the projects in a day, usually administrative and detailed tasks. It does not take much time and is not very important.

If the work I'm doing at the moment is subversive, I will put them in a list of things to do later, and I will pass them all at the end of the day, which is a more effective way.

Similarly, in my email, I listed "reply Tuesday / Thursday / Saturday" column to help me change my email at different times.

    4. postponing important projects

Procrastination is the strangulation of thinking. Postponing work seems like a good idea, but it is actually setting up obstacles for you. It is not worth your doing.

Now start doing those important projects and stop delaying work.

From the people I met in my life, I never found anyone who could get real happiness and happiness from procrastination.

Those procrastination is usually in a fantasy, from "Oh, I like to go my own way" to "I don't want to do this" and then to "I wish I could start earlier." the pformation takes only a few seconds.

Don't allow yourself to be subordinated to this situation. The problem is just how to start.

Once you start, it will become easier.

I have written 11 simple and practical contributions to help you get out of procrastination.

    5. try to make things perfect for the first time.

Interestingly, this is the reason why people who pursue perfection will be delayed (see article fourth).

Those things that start to hinder you from doing your job are the things you need to focus on first.

In your "draft box" - do what you think is the most important and core work, then return to the draft box to solve minor minor details.

    6. care about details

Attention to detail is good. I am a very detail oriented person.

However, don't be confused by details.

From now on, insist on doing this for a year?

    Or three years?

    Or five years?

If not, then it may not be worth worrying about.

It is more important for you to pursue greater goals.

7., there is no clear goal.

Do you know your goal this month?

What are the goals for this year?

    Or next year's goal?

If you can make concise answers, you can move towards these goals.

If not, then you need to spend some time thinking about it.

Maybe it will take some time at the beginning, and then you will be able to prioritize, and your life will become more compact.

I have clear goals and objectives to let me review every week. These can help me maintain the correct course to achieve my long-term goals.

My biggest goal this month is to finish and publish my second book.

No one knows that I have given up many minor tasks for the purpose of giving priority to the most important work, so I can see success.

Now everything is running according to the way it should be, and I am happy to see the final result.

Read first of the 13 strategies, which will inspire you to make better strategic goals.

    8. work without interruption

Humans are not robots, robots can work without interruption for a long time, but we need proper rest and physical recovery.

So give yourself time to rest during a long period of work, even if it's only 5 minutes or 10 minutes, take a deep breath, and then you will notice that your attention and efficiency have improved significantly.

    9., please everyone.

I like to quote Colin Powell's saying, "trying to please everyone is a mediocre talent."

You can never control others' ideas, so don't waste so much time on these things.

Instead, control what you have - yourself, your thoughts, feelings and actions.

Put your energy into the process of creation, so that people can feel your concern and love for them.

You can try it this week - so you will find out how valuable it is.
