The Department of art and design of Zhongyuan University of Technology's information business school has three undergraduate majors, including art design, clothing design and engineering, and advertising. There are eight professional directions: environmental art design, textile art design, visual communication art design, fashion art design, flight attendants and management, automobile performance and marketing, advertising and clothing engineering. Three specialties are: visual communication, environmental art design, clothing art design; a professional upgrading direction: visual communication art design.

There are about 2800 students in the school based, junior college and college level.

The Department of art and design has a modern art design laboratory (Apple computer room), a clothing laboratory, a photographic laboratory, a fiber art design laboratory, a model process room, a fine arts basic laboratory, a body training room, a piano room, and a professional studio. It provides a complete set of experimental instruments and equipment for students' practical and practical courses and creates a good practice environment.

While making full use of our specialized laboratory, we should strengthen cooperation between schools and enterprises and expand practice bases, creating a good environment for practical teaching.

Since its establishment, the Department of art and design has persisted in the goal of training advanced applied talents, and has vigorously promoted professional construction, curriculum construction, teaching staff construction, system construction and laboratory construction.

Excellent achievements have been made in teaching, scientific research, student management and Party building.

There were 1 first prize, three prize and the best organization award in the first class, 1 in the first class, 1 in the excellent course, and 6 in the provincial level in scientific research, 1 of which were awarded three of the scientific and technological progress in China's textile industry, and 2 were awarded two of the scientific and technological progress of the textile department.

We actively organized students to participate in various professional skills competitions, and won excellent results in international, fiber and art exhibitions, China International fabric design competition, Henan industrial design exhibition, Henan star design competition, the Eighth China University Advertising Festival Awards competition, the national model competition, the International Miss Tourism competition, the international designer fashion competition and other international and provincial competitions.

Garment design and engineering is the earliest, largest and strongest specialty in Henan universities. It is a famous brand in Henan in 2006 and a special specialty in Henan province in 2008. It became a key discipline in Henan Province in 2005. Students of fashion design major achieved fruitful results, and achieved great success in international and domestic competitions. According to the ranking of China Fashion Designers Association, the clothing design profession of our institute has ranked 15 among the top 15 countries in the past years.

The performance of the fashion show is outstanding. In 2008, 15 students in our college served as the national guide of the Beijing Olympic Games.

The Institute now has three dimensional non-contact human body measurement laboratory, clothing CAM laboratory, Henan clothing CAD training center, clothing functional laboratory, clothing production and craft room, etc., and has multifunctional functional hall, fashion show rehearsal hall and other facilities.

1. Conditions for registration

1. Applicants who meet the requirements of the Ministry of education's annual admissions regulations can apply.

2, candidates who apply for art design (fashion design and performance direction), girls are above 1.70 meters in height, and boys are above 1.80 in height. They conform to the basic conditions of models, have good artistic potential, and are colorless and weak.

3, candidates for broadcasting and hosting arts majors, girls are above 1.60 meters tall, and boys are above 1.70 meters tall.

4, candidates who apply for art design (air crew and airport management direction), girls are from 1.64 meters to 1.74 meters tall, and boys are 1.73 to 1.85 meters tall.

Putonghua has accurate pronunciation, strong oral expression and comprehensive artistic accomplishment, no color blindness, weak color, no stuttering, pronunciation disorders. The age is not more than 19 years old in principle (after September 1, 1992). The female students with binocular vision are not less than 0.5 (C chart), and boys are not less than 0.7 (c).

3, talent show (full score of 100 points): request self recording, props and costumes, dance, aerobics, rhythmic gymnastics optional, a time limit of 3 minutes.

(three) broadcasting and hosting Arts

First try (full score 100 points): recite your own manuscript, the genre is not limited, the time limit is 2-3 minutes.

Re examination (full score of 400 points)

1, news broadcast (Full Score 120 points): specify the manuscript, about 1 minutes.

2, improvisation Commentary (full score of 120 points): according to the designated manuscript to draw questions on the spot, prepare for 5 minutes, do not write outline or manuscript, limited time 2 minutes.

First try (300 points)

1. Body observation (full score of 200 points): swimsuit, barefoot, body measurement and observation.

2. Oral test (100 points): answer questions as required.

Re examination (full score of 400 points)

1. Body observation (Full Score 200 points): same as the initial test.

2, walking performance (full score of 100 points): girls are required to wear high-heeled shoes, boys and girls wear life clothes, and walk according to requirements.

3, talent show (full score of 50 points): request self recording, props and costumes, dance, aerobics, rhythmic gymnastics optional, a time limit of 3 minutes.

4, oral test (full score 50): Chinese and English recitation.

According to the regulations of the Ministry of education on the examination methods of Art Majors in Colleges and universities in 2011, the arts majors in our university have made professional plans for different provinces and specialties.

Provinces that fail to qualifying for qualified candidates should not be divided into professional programs.

No qualified candidates will be sent to the "arts professional examination certificate". The qualified candidates will be downloaded and printed on our website.

Six, others

1. After the new year's enrollment, our school will review the new students in accordance with the relevant regulations of the state, and find that the unqualified candidates who have failed in the school will return to their original places according to the regulations.
