Old Textiles Recall The &Nbsp; Small Stamps Witness The Development Of The Motherland.

I am not a philatelist, but a stamp lover.

I have been accompanied by small stamps for more than 60 years, helping me grow knowledge and cultivate sentiments, giving me great consolation and happiness.

Since the issuance of the new China stamps in October 1, 1949, by the end of 2000, 800 sets of nearly 4000 stamps have been issued.

Of all these stamps, I especially love the first day stamps.

Because it has both the newly issued stamp and special stamp, and the commemorative stamp on the first day cover. It also briefly introduces the content and meaning of the stamps on the back of the envelope, which can be used to recalling the past and looking forward to development.

Little stamps can lead to thinking, and can also convey a lot of information, especially some important historical events, important social progress and technological development.

The following is only a few examples of China's outstanding examples to witness the rapid development of China's socialist cause.

Hongkong's return to common prosperity

In July 1, 1997, China resumed its exercise of sovereignty over Hongkong, a century of humiliation of the Chinese nation, and Hongkong entered a new era of history.

China has issued a series of commemorative stamps and postal products for this purpose. Among them, the most valuable collection is a set of two commemorative seals to commemorate the resumption of sovereignty of People's Republic of China by the government of Hongkong.

One of its pricities is that one of them was fixed in June 30, 1997. Hongkong was still under British colonial rule. The cover was covered with stamps and postmarks of Hongkong at that time. The other commemorative cover was fixed in July 1, 1997, which was stamped with stamps and postmarks issued by China.

China's space industry has grown from scratch, from weak to strong, from the development of sounding rockets to the development of various satellites and manned spaceships, from a blank to the world's advanced ranks. China has issued various commemorative seals in recent years.

For example, in December 21, 2000, the commemorative envelope of "Long March three launch vehicle launched Beidou two navigation test satellite" was issued in December 21, 2000, and the "Shenzhou two spacecraft recovery" souvenir cover was launched in 2001.

The most unforgettable thing is that in October 16, 2003, when Shenzhou five spacecraft roam in space for 21 hours, Yang Liwei, the first astronaut in China, landed safely on the grasslands of Inner Mongolia.

This is the second milestone in China's space history.

Our country is now preparing to realize the third milestone: the project around the moon.

Little stamps have witnessed the prosperity of our country and the progress of science and technology.

Railways witness China's speed

In June 20, 1961, China issued the commemorative stamp of "Zhan Tianyou's birth 100th anniversary".

Zhan Tianyou is the pioneer of railway construction in China.

In 1909, under the guidance of Zhan Tianyou, the "Beijing Zhangzhou Railway", which stretched across the mountains of Yanshan and crags close to dangerous rock, was built at that time, and the railway was shocked at home and abroad.

After the founding of PRC, Premier Zhou Enlai praised "Zhan Tianyou is the pride and glory of the Chinese people".

Agricultural harvest benefits the world

The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) designated October 16th as "World Food Day" every year, calling on all countries in the world to attach importance to food and agriculture.

In October 16, 1982, China issued a set of special stamps for World Food Day.

Our country has always attached importance to the production of grain and agriculture. Since ancient times, the admonition of "food for the people" has been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.

China is a large populous country. It has been a recipient country receiving assistance from the world food programme before 2005.

However, in this year, China has been pformed into the world's third food aid to other countries.

Yuan Longping has been praised by the United Nations as the father of hybrid rice.

This is our country's great contribution to the world, and it is also the embodiment of China's scientific and technological achievements to the world.

Textile industry has a long way to go

I am a textile practitioner, and I am serious about stamps which involve the textile industry.

As early as 1955, China issued a special stamp with a total of 18 pieces of "efforts to complete the first five year construction plan".

One of them was the textile worker who was concentrating on replacing the shuttle before weaving machine.

On 1959, when the National Day was 10th anniversary, a set of 8 commemorative stamps was issued.

One of them was a spinning female worker's attentive tour of the spinning frame.

All these stamps reflect the hard work of producing front-line textile workers.

In the 50s and 60s of last century, China's textiles were rather scarce. All kinds of cotton fabrics should be supplied by tickets. This is a specific product in the planned economy period.

Later, after the reform and opening up in the late 70s, the demand for textiles was not too tight.

In December 1983, the State Council decided to cancel the distribution of tickets, and the supply of textiles was open. Since then, the system of purchasing cotton and cotton wadding has been put into practice for 30 years.

This shows that China's textile industry has made great achievements in dressing problems, and at the same time, it has put forward higher requirements for the textile industry.

How to produce better and more textiles, which involves the supply of textile materials, has attracted increasing attention.

In June 15, 1978, China issued a set of 5 special stamps of "chemical fiber".

5 stamps were introduced in the 5 processes of raw materials, spinning, weaving, printing and dyeing, and finished products respectively.

In June 30, 1990, a set of 9 "socialist construction achievements" special stamps was issued, one of which introduced the "Yizheng chemical fiber United Company", which was the largest production base of new chemical fiber raw materials at that time.

It is rare to introduce stamps of a manufacturing enterprise like this.

These two sets of stamps related to chemical fibers have witnessed the development of chemical fiber in China.

By the end of 2010, China's annual output of chemical fiber has reached 30 million 800 thousand tons, accounting for more than half of fiber production.

In 1988, I joined the Guangzhou trade delegation to Paris to participate in the "Lyon International Fair", and I got acquainted with the French postmen and exchanged stamps from their respective countries.

After returning home, we continued our correspondence.

The postmen sent me exquisite stamps of the Le Louvre Museum pattern, which made me feel that stamps were a bridge of friendship across national boundaries.

We should pform the knowledge contained in stamps into our own spiritual wealth.

I think this is the real stamp collector.
