Shandong College of Arts and Crafts is located in the historical and cultural city - the foot of the thousand Buddha Shandong in Ji'nan, and the Yellow River in the north. She looks to Taishan in the south. It is one of the 31 independent higher education institutes in China.

The college now covers an area of 90 Mu and a building area of 65 thousand square meters.

The college was founded in 1973. After 30 years of development, it has gradually identified the idea of "taking art subject as the main body, and integrating humanities and Engineering". It has formed the campus landscape concept of cultivating students' "scientific spirit, humanistic quality, artistic innovation and technological ability".

Clothing Institute

Garment Institute, formerly known as the Department of fashion design, was founded in 1983. It is the Department of clothing design higher education in China.

The existing clothing design and engineering, performing two professional, including clothing design, clothing engineering, fashion show 3 professional direction, school system for 4 years, give a bachelor's degree, since the implementation of the credit system in 2003, the clothing institute adopts the teaching mechanism cooperating with teaching studio and studio. The 1~4 semester teaching is carried out under the organization of the teaching and research section, and completes the learning of basic modeling courses and professional basic courses.

In the 5~7 semester, the students entered the studio to complete the comprehensive theoretical study and skill training with the project design (including graduation project) as the unit, and the eighth semester was an interdisciplinary elective course.

The professional direction of the College of clothing has strong industry background, broad prospects for employment, flexible way of choosing jobs, setting up training objectives of Shandong College of Arts and Crafts based on the technical positions of the garment enterprises, adopting flexible teaching methods for the constantly changing employment market, and persisting in the teaching thought of combining theory with practice, art education and skill training.

Upholstery design includes three directions: Graphic Advertisement design, brand and corporate image design, book design, and training professionals in corporate image planning, advertising design, publishing and book design. Decorative art design includes six major directions: dyeing and weaving art, fiber art, ceramic art, lacquer art, gold technology and glass, and training modern decorative art designers who meet individual needs. Our school enrollment examination in 2011 adopts online registration and on-site registration (including group registration). Candidates can choose their own convenient way to sign up.

Shandong examinees do not accept candidates from overseas provinces or provincial examinations, but do not accept candidates from Shandong.

Site registration time: 12 to 13 February 2011 (at the same time, accepting group registration).
